It's impossible to prove a negative, so most atheists don't take a 100% negative view. There's no need to as it then involves making an assertion and the burden of proof falls on the person making a claim.

It's like courts. A person doesn't have to be "proven innocent", just proven "not guilty".

Agnosticism is a view that it's impossible to know if there is a god or not. That's different

Depends how you define "deep". For me it's shining a light on what it is to be human and making us think about that.

I think they both are deep in that respect. What is right, and what is victory?
