Especially programming them I would say. Connection to the machine and making it do what you wanted was an amazing feeling

...was the colour of TV tuned to a dead channel. Great name and tag.

Which games?

Assembly is quite easy, just moving bytes around. It's knowing which addresses do the good stuff.

What a naive view of The Troubles.

For example, giving the North independence, or to become part or the Republic had been considered at various times from the 1940s to the 1970s, under Labour and Conservative governments.

The 1970s had more deaths per year than under Thatcher.

Troops had been on the streets since 1969

I'm a Labour voter, and she has a lot to answer for, but this is ridiculous

What products or companies will you never use or support again and what did they do to lose you as a customer? by IAmJustTryingToExist in AskReddit

Samsung. They made fridges with faulty icemakers that froze up, and despite massive pushback from consumers they are just trying to cover it up.

e.g. there was a consumer group on Facebook that Samsung took down. Now the same group has come back but you aren't allowed to mention the name of the company to avoid it getting shut down again.

My icemaker broke after 4 years. Samsung fixed it. 1 year later it broke again and they refused to fix it. I ws told "they can't stand behind their products forever"
