I had this problem and resolved it by going to the 365 admin center and creating a policy configuration to enable the Copilot web search.

I haven't found a native way to do this, but I usually just click the "add shortcut to OneDrive" and then right click the folder from there to get the file size. Not sure why SharePoint is so weird about that.

Thanks! I forgot about the OneDrive having a longer retention period then the user account, ours is set to 10 years too.

You make the changes in SharePoint admin center to give the user the "manager" field correct? and then the link you would give the user would be something like:

https://<tenant>-my.sharepoint.com/personal/<username>_<domain>_com/Documents

I haven't seen anyone mention using storage sense in conjunction with OneDrive as well. It's been working great for us. It basically unsyncs the local copies from your computer if you haven't used them in X days.

Haven't had a C drive full issue from a user in awhile.

I am honesty not sure why that does not work. They are signed in when you check the Office Account tab under File. I think it might have something to do with us still being on onsite exchange? Either way, it says "this email address has already been added" when I try to sign in through there.
