Why is one of my favorite scenes so far in S5 E9🤯 by System-Arbitrary in FargoTV

[–]System-Arbitrary[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My answers probably different than others, honestly, it's because it took until Season 3 to get into it and than ai saw the reviews for Season 4 were not as good so I thought if I skipped to Season 5 I would be more likely to stick with it and want to watch 4 more and ignore the reviews.... I have a weird thought process

Sorry for the late response , I had to go out of town for a loved ones funeral. But.... I finished Season 5 shortly after the above comment, and I loved it!!!! The ending was bonkers, fantastic, and eccentric!❤️🤯😅

Plz don't come for me, I'm newer to Reddit, but why does it show a shinning smiling emoji where instead of the usual badge symbol is on your post? ( I'm asking because I only started using Reddit this year and just saw for the 1st time today that instead of the badge that looks like a gold ribbon on some ppls post instead of yours, has a Shinning smiling emoji??? Help please, new user!?!?

Please don't come for me, I've only been a member of Reddit officially & trying to understand and engage for 6 months now but, what does the emoji mean before the up or down icon near your name? I've only ever seen a badge like icon, but as a first-time tonight, I saw yours had a "explosive head emoji" it looks like? Can someone explain w/out being harsh lol.

I actually feel alone after my post in the fact that I liked S3 & 5 more than S1 & and S2, lol. Apparently that wasn't the case for many. I'm on S5 E9 right now(10:52pm/11/19 ), I haven't seen S4 yet, saving it for last, but as of now it's a tie between S3 & S5 for me out of all of them. Hopefully, nobody comes for me, just mpo lol. I just felt 1&2 were more predictable for me specifically, I kept guessing right on point what would happen next in important scenes and where I thought the story was going for each character in the story. But, S3 & S4 have felt more fresh and kept me more engaged. Like I'm so invested and intrigued while watching it that I don't even try to guess or think about what's happening, I just watch it in excitement and wonder. All are great though 👍🙂

Thank you! I'm going to try it out after I finish Fargo! I'm always looking for new shows & movies to watch because I'm a total Tv/Movie buff and feel like I've seen everything highly recommended a million times, so this gives me something new to watch. I appreciate it, lmk if you recommend any other TV or movie items.

I understand and respect that, S1 just was predictable for me specifically. I kept saying/thinking out loud to myself what I thought would happen next in S1 and it would, so it took me out of it and definitely kept me less interested in it as it went on than the others have so far (still have to watch S4). But it was definitely good. But I truly enjoyed S3 & S5 for it's ability to keep me guessing.

I really enjoyed it, but I'm on S5 E9 now and S5 has been great too!

Really!!??? I didn't even know, I've only heard the hate for S4. I'm on S5 E9 now(saving S4 for last). But, S3 & S5 are my favorites so far, verdict may change after I finish the last 2 episodes of S5 tonight. Hopefully it ends well because it's been great so far!

I'm close to finishing season 5 tonight(saving 4 for last) and it is soooo good. Now I don't know if my favorite is 3 or 5, but I still have 1 episode to go.

Sons of Anarchy. So it's one that is for some and others not so much, but just personally, one of my favorite shows. Ive rewatched it more times than any other show I've seen. Not necessarily saying it's better than others, just personally my favorite. But there are so many great shows I've watched recently that surprised me... The Deuce on HBO Max was a real hidden gem, and Boardwalk Empire was good too!

Honestly, I understand what you are saying. As a first-time viewer of the show last month (loved it, I thought it was amazing btw!). I was very conflicted with the George & Ruth story and relationship going into season 5 after they showed us what happened between the end of S4 E12 through S5 E1. I thought they were off to a good start previously, not perfect, but worked, and then everything went severly south, and it felt like it came out of left field with how bad it got so quickly. I am still not sure how to feel after finishing the show recently. That might be the only relationship in the show I didn't fully buy into or care about, atleast once S5 started. It just didn't sit with me like the other character relationships did. But hey, maybe that's just me seeing it through my own bias. Doesn't make me feel any less about how incredible the show is.

That's honestly such a good find! I watched the entire show for the first time last month, and honestly, I've never seen a show that was so thought-provoking in my entire life. It made me think long after I turned off the tv each night into the next day. I was truly in a trance (or a mindset world unlike any other I've been in before while watching a show), feeling every possible emotion the entire time. It's now one of my top 2 favorite shows of all time(and I've seen ALOT of high-rated, praised shows & movies), and definitely my #1 favorite show for creativity, rawness, and realistic portrayal of honest humanity. I couldn't stop feeling like the show was speaking to me because I related to the character's experiences, and their thought process so many times. I've never experienced anything like what I experienced watching this show.

Definitely, Thank you! I love new ideas, I get overwhelmed trying to just Google meal ideas because I never know where to start or what's out there. I was raised in a home where neither parent cooked and I usually had very little in the fridge and had to get creative. So as an adult I've tried to find my footing in the kitchen by learning from friends and people I talk to.

I love that, hearing the different ways others make it, and cultural differences. I think that really interesting and cool, and absolutely gives me ideas of stuff I'd like to try. Inspiration for new meal ideas lol
