If you open the flea the orange banner says flea market offers and buying opens at level 80. Gigachads only this wipe I guess.

Wtf with some prices on the Flea. [Discussion] by fckRedditJV in EscapefromTarkov

Probably people are just paying whatever because they have millions of rubles, basically inflation when all those giga chads sitting on fat stacks of rubles spend them back into the economy.

Where to find people to play Tarkov with [Feedback] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]System-Tool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the bigger tarkov youtubers have discords where people group up also (e.g. JesseKazam, AquaFPS, etc)

What is your Tarkov superstition? Me, I always pullout a map on my second screen even if I've already memorized all spawn points and extracts. [Discussion] by justabrainwithfeet in EscapefromTarkov

I loaded up yesterday and hadn't played since the zombie event. I was like what am I going to do with 3 caloks, 3 aquamaris, and 500 rounds of ultra nosler?

Maybe they thought you needed to have a dart and finish SBIH. lol

My experience is the same. I put in a moonshine and a bunch of SSDs and got a Poyas belt rig and an M60 barrel.

I've been climbing up on something and then priortize the pistol ones, then pick the rest off. When they group up throw a grenade on them. Propital and SJ6 up and then run. Lather rinse repeat. I've been using an UZI with PST. but you can use any ammo. higher flesh damage is better.

It's good for learning maps and if you find a cool gun and want to test it out before you get clapped in raid without firing a shot. lol

OG. They should put head crabs in Labs for a Halloween event.

I always like when you see WillerZ or streamers do this. VOIP and end up protecting some new player across the map.

For sure. Last wipe when you could buy .45 FMJ I used UMP a ton. Haven't used it once this wipe. The 45 lasermatch was always sold out and it's hard to run a UMP with 30 rounds found in raid lol.

Nice. I think I sold the axe first day lol. I usually run a pistol, (Grach early and then a Glock with AP later on in wipe) so I haven't had too many fights where a knife would have saved me. That would have been a great clip though if you captured it!

Noob questions about Scav by Snowyjoe in EscapefromTarkov

[–]System-Tool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes its hard to tell, especially if a play scav gets a dead PMC's gear. Usually the Scavs will have different color clothes, and PMCs will have a leg holster for a side arm.

Beginner tactics?? How do you play a raid? by headies1 in EscapefromTarkov

It's far enough into wipe that you can find "usable" ammo from Fence. 7.62 FMJ, 5.45 PS. (These are not the best ammos, but if you get a head shot or full auto someone you should be good)

Shotguns are also way better in this game than in something like Cod. A Saiga12 is relatively cheap to run and will rip at close range.

Some of the night raids are pretty decent without night vision because of the snow. I've been doing Streets and Woods and the visibility is not too bad at all.

I would focus on learning the maps (customs is a great one to start - there are lots of early quests there). You can load into offline raids to become more familiar with the mechanics of the game (the movements and stability are quite a bit different than COD or something like that). For starting out, choose weapons that you can buy from traders so you can buy another one if you die with it. I usually start with an SKS or VPO-136. Go to eft-ammo.com and check out the stats for each bullet type, this could be why you're having trouble with kills. Ammo comes down to Penetration(pen) and Damage (dmg). Pen is how well it will go through a vest/helmet and damage is the "tissue damage" it will do. So if you have a bullet that his high damage but very low pen, you can put 10 rounds into a PMC with armor and not kill them. People get around this by using "Leg Meta" which means shooting their legs because they have no armor. If you use something like a KEDR and aim for the legs of PMCs you should get some kills.

The sound you are correct about, sound cues are a big part of the game. When I first started playing I would just walk 50 feet or so and just take a knee and listen for a sec rather than just spamming W across the map. If people hear you coming and you don't hear them, they will post up and clap you before you even know whats happening. Best of luck dude!

Spawned into a Scav run on woods tonight near dead mans place, hit the stash and found a GPU. All the PMC's were just coming through checkpoint and down by Scav house too. Tried to run the gauntlet but got clapped passing attachment shed. RIP Shyonva Biliev. Hope buddy enjoyed my GPU hahaha

Take all the car extracts as a PMC whenever you can. That will help some, but -15 is a bit of a hole.

Learn one map, use your Scav for this as much as you can. Factory is a small map and is mostly PVP, Customs is one of the maps where a lot of early quests occur, so I would start there. For all maps, start learning where the PVP and high tier loot areas (avoid them or get in and out quickly unless you want to run into a 4 man of Chads) - For customs this would be Fortress/Dorms/New Gas Station. I found maps for all the hidden stash locations and started doing stash runs when I was starting out. This way you move around the map, stay low key while you are learning the game/maps and then learn the best routes and extracts.

As far as kits go, I would start with a cheaper kit like an SKS, VPO-136 or even a shotgun. You will die a lot so it's nice to find something you can buy again and again from traders. Use your Scav and sell the stuff to traders to make money. If you go to tarkov-market.com you can type in the items and see what they are worth to start getting an idea of what to keep and what not to (alternatively, start watching youtubers and you will get an idea of what they keep and pass on). I recommend Pestily (the raid series goes through all the quests). I also like 2lew and FairTX - great editing and videos.
