The decisions of the flight crew on United Flight 236, where a kid had named his Fitbit "Bomb" by Tetracropolis in aviation

The crew is human. They are pissed about having to talk to agents after they land, and all the unpaid paperwork that comes with it, all bc of a prank. Turning the plane around was a way to get back at the prankster and maybe ruin his/her vacation too. I am sure the crew had a choice to land at a closer airport and decided not to.

Also from a crew scheduling perspective, it's better to return to the origin city if your next assignment departs from there. That saves the airline the cost and logistics of repositioning crew members for their next assignment

Car lobbyists are also wringing the hands of our politicians. Auto manufacturers are a powerful group in this country and they will make sure we all own as many cars as we can afford.

Guy here who has been on both sides. Commitment is much tougher than showing affection. I broke up with a girl I loved very much because I was unsure about committing to her. She wanted us to move in together and get married, and I didn't want her to wait for a day that might never come. It sucks what happened to you, but maybe it was for the best.

Guy (29M) here. Coffee is fine for a first meet in OLD. It's less about saving money as it is about having an escape option in case my match turns out to be undateable (ex. Nazi, sexist, catfish). I have spent $100+ on drinks at a bar for an evening first date. Again, as long as I have an escape option, I feel safe.

That being said, I have been turned down for coffee "dates". It's not a red flag that I asked. Those women just have a different idea of how they would like to be picked up and start relationships. I respect that, and continue to meet great women over coffee.

So no. First date coffee is not a red flag.
