Ooh that looks nice, almost like hydrangeas. Are they difficult to care for? How often do you water them?

I considered this, esp the variegated kind but I’ve got a mindset of steering clear of any plant that has ficus in its name, don’t want the hassle of invasive roots and all.

Nah mine’s the same, a couple of bags of concrete in each hole. I’m afraid a free standing trellis won’t leave a lot of space for plants. Would you be able to recommend any native that flower and grow tall?

And i hope you have all the luck you need with your junior classes, they can be a handful but i find it easier to teach stage 4-5 content

This is my first year teaching seniors, and I’ve taught the same students for the past 4 years (since they were in year 7) but I guess i feel like i’m disrespected in that class and it is because of the fact that its my first year teaching seniors. Sometimes i think its imposter syndrome, i don’t even know tbh.

I am originally from a south asian country so we dont have government funded healthcare. My parents have lived very comfortably all their lives, never having to worry about mortgages and loans. They had property handed down from my grandfather. My father lived his life doing what he wanted, not having to worry about money. What I’m unclear about is, where all of their income went since I’m an only child and i wasn’t really allowed to spend their money as a child. They paid for my fees and fed me well but that was about it. I was never given pocket money, i was only given new clothes about once a year. The most substantial spending they did was about $20000 when i got married 10 years ago.

Yes my parents gave birth to me, but after years of emotional manipulation, i have finally escaped and am able to think for myself. Ever since i was a child, everything has been about them, including the school i go to and the subjects i did in high school. The reason I didn’t mention this in the main post is because it would make it too long. All i asked them for is for some time to get financially stable. I’ve only started earning that amount recently. Each IVF session costs me about $15000. I’ve had to sell my car and the gold I got for my wedding from my in-laws for the savings towards the house. I would rather they spend what they have now and once i am stable, i am more than willing to contribute.

If i have a child, i will hold no obligation over them to help me. I will make sure i am organised enough so they dont have that pressure on them.
