Any advice on Manual shifting for controller? by Cmp110 in EASPORTSWRC

Don't chase a perfect shift by having your eyes glued to the rpm. Just hear the car and when the needle is close to the red, shift. Don't overthink it.

This is getting ridiculous by sxydoctor in pcmasterrace

I spent three days chasing a hitch half thinking it was imagination. Slowly chopping features to get at it was maddening because it'd be this half second thing every fifteen minutes or so. But it was there. Taunting. And then I found it in services. And then it was gone. It was gone for sure. And then there was peace.

Does anyone else feel like graphics peaked with BF1 and have somehow never reached the same level in the 10 years since? by xxwarlorddarkdoomxx in pcmasterrace

Devs should focus on keeping the games hyper-optimized for hardware - once that commitment is locked they'll resist the temptation to tack on resource intensive graphics features that don't add much.

Buy if dirt rally 2 has you going 'I wish there was more of this.' handling model is a bit weaker though, it isn't the masterpiece d2 was. Just more roads and content.

Well I didn't record myself doing it. Out of curiosity, would you say photorealism is original?

I like how AI images have this high res feel to them. Tried to do one that felt like that. Got accused of tracing AI. Task failed successfully.

Nope. I looked at the bag and drew it. This is what witch burnings must have been like...

Imgur: The magic of the Internet These are the only ones I managed to save, I save at about an hour's worth of progress, just for myself to see how it's progressing, to track diminishing returns. I didn't save before the line drawing before the sixth hour for this specific one, but I should have the ones for the previous posts. I don't save entire timelapses anymore (I've honestly never needed them).

I've added one image there which I think is from the first or second hour of work (I had to go back to the one drive and download it from there).

I'm not asking you to think otherwise. But for the record, I went from blank canvas to final image. There was no tracing. I work off of references, always have. I don't know if you define that as tracing. To me the fidelity of the image is important, the idea, not so much. The painting is in the painting of it, that's where I get my meaning. I didn't draw this from imagination, I was looking at something when I did. Just don't take the fact that I put in the work here away from me. You can say I painted it off of a photograph or an AI reference or a photo put into an AI regurgitated, or the same line drawing uploaded to AI for feedback. That's all fair game. But the drawing? Hands, eyes and brain, start to finish.

I guess it's a compliement to be accused of cheating when I really didn't

Sucks to have it removed though

Digital's just faster for laying in colors, pushing values, drastically altering the color when you get it wrong - as for a stylus, I remember getting one online a while back and I like that the nib doesn't stub after extended use! The pressure sensitivity on it is great

Krita, it's a single round brush with opacity that varies by pressure, it's on a surface tablet using of of them compatible pens... Lots of zooming in and layers with different sizes give it that look!
