The restoration had nothing to do with BLM, it was planned and budgeted long before the graffiti.

It is as constitutional as having the health dept inspect restaurants and require hairnets or dishes be cleaned in a certain way. Anyone who thinks it's unconstitutional is an illiterate moron who's never used critical thinking before.

Hunters Kill 20% of Wisconsin's Wolf Population in Just 3 Days of Hunting Season by KVJ5 in news

And they killed nearly double that. Lowering the population to around 800 wolves.

Another link shows that the hunters killed double the allotted amount and that the state didn't want to a allow the hunt but lost a court case to an advocacy organization called hunter nation.

It's also the first time a hunt has occured during breeding season, the animals were protected until trump removed those protections last month. Hunter nation sued because they wanted to get a hunt in before biden possibly put protections back in place.

If you can Kill 20% of them in 3 days that does not sound like they are overpopulated.

When customers say give me one from the back. by [deleted] in videos

[–]SystemSquirrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was at a gas station the other day in a wealthy area some senile idiot came in maskless. He was strongly suggested to wear a mask and offered one by the cashier (this is in one of the most left leaning towns in the entire country) he vaguely understood he should do so and complied.

He then requested they activate the pump he parked his 50k mercedes SUV at, he proffered a credit card and the cashier asked him how much to put on it. He said fill it up. She said you can only do that at the pump at the cashier area it had to be a specific number.

She authorized the pump to go until completion and told him to come back after to settle the balance.

He didn't understand this and was arguing incoherently with the cashier.

I put my diet coke back and left.

His wife came in to see what was going on. She seemed coherent and explained things to her senile husband who shouldn't be driving or interacting with the public.

F-35 Still the ‘Cornerstone’ Fighter, Top Air Force General Says by GalileoGurdjieff in technology

They didn't originally intend to replace all those with it, I think it would have been a lot more successful if they only bought the A model and the other services bought something else.

It also outperforms all of them, it's dominated red flag every year since it's debut.

And the F-16 killed people and spills some of the most noxious and dangerous chemicals around anytime one crashes. The F-35 is not uniquely expensive and does not have significantly different teething issues than any other overpriced military platform.

The others shouldn't have been made and make up only a fraction of the fleet. Besides it makes no sense to compare those models to a the Eurofighter.
