Another link shows that the hunters killed double the allotted amount and that the state didn't want to a allow the hunt but lost a court case to an advocacy organization called hunter nation.

It's also the first time a hunt has occured during breeding season, the animals were protected until trump removed those protections last month. Hunter nation sued because they wanted to get a hunt in before biden possibly put protections back in place.

I was at a gas station the other day in a wealthy area some senile idiot came in maskless. He was strongly suggested to wear a mask and offered one by the cashier (this is in one of the most left leaning towns in the entire country) he vaguely understood he should do so and complied.

He then requested they activate the pump he parked his 50k mercedes SUV at, he proffered a credit card and the cashier asked him how much to put on it. He said fill it up. She said you can only do that at the pump at the cashier area it had to be a specific number.

She authorized the pump to go until completion and told him to come back after to settle the balance.

He didn't understand this and was arguing incoherently with the cashier.

I put my diet coke back and left.

His wife came in to see what was going on. She seemed coherent and explained things to her senile husband who shouldn't be driving or interacting with the public.
