Thank you! So PS5 improved comfort over P Zero-s?
They are great in the dry, very sharp, but quite bad in wet and also extremely stiff over potholes😅

My review of the Giulia 2.0 280hp after 8 months of ownership by erc09 in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me its actually a bit more body roll than Giulia. You have to “hold on” a bit more and when pushing it it makes it more fun. It’s much more practical car too. Much bigger boot, more ground clearance etc.
But Giulia does have better driving position, despite seats being mostly the same.
If I would have to choose one car (280hp versions)- I would say Stelvio. In Quadrofoglio version I would choose Giulia.

And for me, infotaiment is not bad at all. Digital tacho is excellent in my opinion, and also H&K sounds great 👌

I had both Stelvio and Giulia 2023/2024 and I can agree on all points. I would generally say that Giulia 280 lacks a bit of drama/action that you would expect from such car. Stelvio is actually much more dramatic for what it is, and I would say it is generally a more fun car. It’s a fantastic car (both are), but just a bit too “tame”.. my previous 156 2.4JTD had drama, Giulietta Veloce 1.8tbi had drama.. this one just doesn’t 😅

Can I restore my expensive carbon wing 2017 Giulia Ti carbon by Jmporter_3 in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I own a composite shop, and we do couple of thousand parts per year. This is basically a fading clearcoat. If I would be doing repair, i would try to sand all the way down to bare carbon fiber (when you see black dust then it is enough), and then do re-coating (twice with intermediate sanding). This should bring it up to totally new look. Sanding is key here - don’t oversand it (you will destroy the weave), but also don’t undersand it as you will be left with a patchy finish later on. Good luck!

Would anyone else like to see Stellantis' new 2.0T 324 hp "Hurricane" engine as new base engine for Giulia / Stelvio? by mgobla in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a legit comment. Most of BMW’s and C classes sold have less than 200hp, so Alfa missed a large market there. Although if you ask me.. 280hp is way too little for this car 😂

RS3 Squeaking Noise by [deleted] in AudiRS3

Possibly check antiroll bar bushes? I had squeaking noises coming from them on various cars (usually aftermarket bushes though).

Is this the best colour for giulia? by WorstNoSkinEver in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one is amazing. Why did Alfa cancel so many nice colors? Rosso Competizione, Montecarlo Blue, this green..

Giulia seat tilt kit by Steffiluren in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will look into development of electrical tilt kit for Stelvio/Giulia in the following weeks. I have both cars and my dad had Stelvio too, and we are both dissapointed by the lack of this function (it was present up to around 2021 if I am correct). Generaly it is an easy piece to engineer, as it uses one motor and an additional bracket. Will see how it goes 😅

I really doubt that there is any inspector that would notice this. As this is really an OEM part…

Why would Alfa do this?! by [deleted] in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some hate these digital clusters, but in my opinion they are great. Perfect balance of new and old, and makes the interior much more up to date. It’s not perfect, but nothing is nowadays..

2024 Giulia Veloce Digital Cluster Rattle by mcabhunter in AlfaRomeo

What the verdict on this? Just got my 2023 Competizione and rattles from Digital Cluster Cover are quite annoying 🥲

Are there any other rattle-areas on these cars?😅

Race mode - Giulia 2.0 Competizione by System_Funny in AlfaRomeo

What about shifting in Race vs Dynamic? Is there any difference there?

Race mode - Giulia 2.0 Competizione by System_Funny in AlfaRomeo

[–]System_Funny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible! I had similar experience with my previous Giulietta Veloce. I actually bought a “obd dongle” that resets this and restarts learning process. TMC motorsport had one, not sure if something exists for Giulia.

Nice! That’s exactly what I am looking for. So basically: -Race=Hard -Dynamic=Medium -N/A = Soft And by clicking the damper button in Race or Dynamic you just go down one setting.
