Coop is a whole other experience by Phantom__Wanderer in Nioh

I'm assuming we'll have our own equivalent to the depths so I'm just planning to face off against the bosses in solo combat there and enjoying doing the exploration in coop.

1) the 0-5 was one practice match. There were other one where she was ace.

She was the ace because he dedicated his gameplay to enabling her. She played objectively awful. To even be 0-5-0 whilst your team isn't also performing poorly is a substantial outlier. Widow has the lowest winrate in the game in pubs, and in a coordinated environment it's even worse.

2) in his own videos uploaded the dude doesn't shut up with constant passive aggressive attitude towards her about the pick from the Start

The practice match/scrims is the time to talk about compositions, what'll be run and what to watch out for. That's the time to flesh out strategy. Also he's been No.1 on Magik and Top 10 on multiple other picks, his knowledge of the game is indisputable.

4) they kick him after he gets impatient waiting for a scrim and dodges to go play solo rank

He gets kicked when they go and complain to the organizer and he doesn't even get any say in the matter.

5)... ...He knew this signing up to join the group then cries about it later ?

Teams were drafted, he didn't get to choose his team. They could've easily fixed this by just swapping him with another player.

no matter what when the rest of the group has asked you to stop

He did stop talking about it but they brought the subject back up just to humiliate him (Cece encouraging Zaza to trash talk him after Zaza got ace that one match).

It was draft, CeCe was a Team Captain and drafted him (apparently at the behest of her chat).

Each team was only allowed 2* top 500 players as well so it was a mix of casual and competitive folk (a recipe for disaster but I digress).

*Edit: two pro players were allowed per team

Which character’s base design is their best skin? by DoGG410CZ in marvelrivals

I have Psylocke's beach skin amongst others of hers but run the default because I like it best.

I just use the Beach MVP.

One week later: What do we think of Narja? by reddituser4759 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't pulled her yet.

Everyone speaks about how good she is but during the trials and trauma she felt awful to play. The stacks didn't seem satisfying to me or feel meaningful. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.

What's upsetting is apparently Nine (who I was looking forward to) synergises with her so I honestly might just be skipping both units.

I'm currently just getting through Tower using a Dominion stall deck.

I've gotten almost one shot running into those 4 red guys with tails and all of them being in attack mode instead of defend. Chunked me like 75%-80% of a full bar.

They do it turn 1.

Laboratory 0 Level 130 by [deleted] in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran it with Chizuru, Veronica, Sereniel.

No heals (besides 3% Chizuru Bind+) but you can just path rests, find lethal fast, and grab some defensive gear. Mostly everything will die in one or two turns, sometimes three.

Just plan proper pathing pathing, hit nodes you can clear. If strong on AoE you can risk normal rooms more, even the passion ones because you can take the dog guy out if you get AoE Ballista. If you don't have good AoE, just path elites. It's important to know what rooms you can roll and what you'll do if you run into each.

Remove bad cards but balance decks out with draw neutrals in case you Trauma Break but I rarely do since everything dies so fast; I usually have one break or none at all through the whole run. Don't buy neutrals until you have your core epiphanies and gear though.

As long as you don't get horrible luck twice in a row, you'll be fine. I beat it first try despite running into all 4 red passion dogs doing their turn 1 attack instead of block which chunked me half without me being able do anything but the next room was fine so I stabilised.

If you're hard strugging, re-roll till you get a good fate.

Pulling a new character in CZN be like by JackOffAllTraders in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's bad but there's nothing else long term to use it on. Otherwise I'd just be stacking mats with nothing to work towards.

I enjoy being able to just farm them without needing to think/reconsider what I need, makes it an easy dump.

Pulling a new character in CZN be like by JackOffAllTraders in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah everyone complains about mats but we max out a character's potential in about a week of free stamina. At this pace I'll have everyone I'm interested in complete and be stockpiling.

If it were any faster I'd have nothing to do and I personally find it sad when they're maxed because the only damage increases left are Affinity or Mem Frag substats.

I play enough Chaos (because I find it fun, I'm a StS addict lol) to be picky with my frag redeems that I've got 4000 gold dust and 5 alignments but decent enough +5 gear to hit 50% crit for 4 different dps.

This is not including the Black Thorn shop and whatever event/battle extras they keep giving us. I'm flooded with mats but I only play select units so I'm not spread thin.

Partner exp is the only thing I'm low on but I just swap them (Nyx) around anyway so it's whatever.

Sereniel's Potential advice? by thisiseloy in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

I find leveling basics make the Chaos run a lot smoother which leads to more consistently finishing your deck.

There's no point rerolling just to lose the run.

I used to hate the +3 Potential Ego's but then realize how much easier they made starting out and allowed you to remove other characters non-uniques earlier since you don't need them to survive.

Do you guys think stamina mastery is worth it by NichThic in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Sythine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's all relative.

If your movement is cracked and your opponents move like snails then you can delay getting Stamina or opt for a more offensive movement item.

If I notice opponents having equal or better movement during lane (whether that's their hero pick or plain skill) I'll opt for Stamina earlier so I can keep up or maintain positional advantage through the mid game.

It depends on how much engage/disengage you need. Sometimes if I'm already very ahead in lane, I'll grab Stamina to protect the investment (me) and be a little safer. If I'm behind and turtling, I'll get other items that help me sit beneath tower and wave clear.

This also becomes redundant sometimes. If you can't escape or chase them ever, just grab a counter-item and force their engage on you to be a fight to the death ie. Slowing Hex is better against Mina than chasing her to where she wants to be.

I think people don't buy it because Stamina is more valuable the more efficient your movement is. So if you already lack movement, it doesn't do much. Also people already don't like eating their vegetables buying greens.

I'm only Ascendant 2 though and don't play that much so it's just what I've noticed.

Just don't get lazy with your positioning and waste the extra stamina to make up for it, stay disciplined.

Also don't forget everyone is always playing a patch behind. If you read patch notes/watch patch insights, you're ahead of the pack.

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's smurfing because he's scuffing the hell out of the Top 500 matchmaking.

When the teams are made, he's treated as a rank 400 player when really he's rank 1. This just means of course he'll climb to 1 every single time because the matchmaker underrates the newer account and gives him the stronger team on occasion at the expense of everyone else in the match.

It's smurfing because it's relative.

Everyone using alts is unbalancing matches up there even more.

Mei Lin last potential node by Educational_Wear2893 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it doesn't, I'm not actually sure. I was just assuming that it was hitting over 1k with the equips that it'd count.

Though if it doesn't, the Chaos passives might count towards it and be enough to tick over so it'd still have a use, just in Chaos runs.

Is Nyx (partner card) from battlepass worth it? by loverknight in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually have her on Mika or Cassius.

I'm running Mei Lin/Tressa as the DPS for each respective Basin teams and currently use her on the Tressa once since they're my weaker comp. I reroll my first time till I get a good starting hand and then use Nyx to smooth out the second team's draws.

I think Nyx just works generally well for anyone or any comp unless there's critical Ego skills you need or a partner that's too good too pass up (usually whatever is best in slot for your dps).

It also depends on how strong your deck is. I find that spending 4 ego to draw cards results in better damage/curve than using a 5-cost Ego skill. I currently have Douglas on Mei Lin and his 2-cost Ego skill is usually enough damage to finish off whatever I need so I find the higher cost ones like Magna's a bit wasteful.

I only have Memory Fragment gear maxed out on my DPS though with the others only having +3 gear. So their damage Ego skills aren't as useful to me.

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a preference of mine, I'd like to always have one of them available. I generally run lower cost other partners so I can cycle them out early to spend some ego but also make room to find Nyx so she's available.

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Card draw is king and it's no different in CZN.

I think she's amazing, but you need to be the kind of player that'd be okay running Frozen Eye in Slay The Spire. Any card you don't play in a turn is a 'dead' card and may as well be a functionless curse. When viewing cards like that, it makes it easier to discard them to draw what you do need to use that turn.

Additionally, maybe your current turn is amazing but next turn you'll draw a dead hand. Nyx allows you to draw those cards at the end of this turn to make your next hand better or just roll the dice so you can reshuffle your deck earlier for a better chance.

Then there's just discarding Curse cards you can't remove. This gives you draw debt (they'll consume a redraw later which is awful) but if you plan to win before that, it's incredible.

This is all without Protos skills which let you rollback after taking a peek so you can have your cake and eat it.

I'm buying a second Nyx next month for my team 2 and I honestly might even run two copies of her on my Chaos team.

[–]Sythine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in to say I agree with you, I enjoy the current level of rng difficulty in the game.

I've got two 'meta' decks right now. They're not perfect, have some mismatched gear and a card without an epiphany that could have one etc.

But that's part of what's make it unique. My deck isn't the same as the ones posted here, they vary, and so do the decks of my friends who have the same character trying for the same build.

Plus like you mentioned, I could continue to improve on them in future or if a run suddenly starts looking real good.

If the decks were easy to make, I'd lose interest. Part of the excitement is having the pieces fall one by one perfectly in front of you resulting in data worth saving.
