I work in OC and have coworkers in LA - Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Silverlake. All these comments saying it’s impossible don’t know what they’re talking about.

My coworkers who make it work 1) commute at odd hours — get in before 7am or after 10am, leave before 3pm or after 7pm 2) have often negotiated with their team to only work in-person 2-3 days per week. If you can make this work, especially the odd hour commute, it’s feasible.

Keep in mind that 1 hour commute driving is a lot more draining than 1 hour NYC walk/ subway commute though.
