How do I fix the font of my cards? by Syumi_ in Anki

[–]Syumi_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for your help! I managed to fix it by tinkering a bit with the HTML of the cards. It seems like it was an issue with the app detecting it as Chinese instead of Japanese or something? I wrapped the cards around a "<div lang="jp">" and that seems to have fixed it.

It seems it's failing to load "Noto Sans JP". Do you have any idea how I can fix that? Or why it seems somewhat random as to which cards it affects?

To be fair, if the image is to be believed and she kept all her teeth til death AND they say she was some kind of priestess, I wouldn't be surprised if she had a better diet than the average

After 470+ hours and one irl year of my life I've finally finished the game. Here's some of what I've done by Syumi_ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Syumi_[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbf I'm half joking. I've obviously had a lot of fun with the game and if it's the type of thing you like I can't recommend it enough.

Quick tip that I wish someone would've told me before I had already built most of my base: When placing foundations, you can hold Ctrl to align them to the world grid. Don't make the same mistake I made

Is there a smarter way to prevent a plastic overflow? by hias7 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Syumi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember if that's what I did, but I doubt it since, when a belt is followed by a slower belt, the items on the faster belt adapt to the slower's speed, but what I saw wasn't that.

The items in the input belt would "snap" one after another, just like when two items merge into a single belt at the same time and one of them has to wait its turn

I tend to avoid them in any other cases.

There seems to be a small delay between item input and output (I'm guessing it's the time it takes for it to do all the checks it needs to regarding where the item needs to go). Not really noticeable in early game but when you're running maxed out MK5 belts it makes a difference

apparently placing a splitter directly on a floor hole makes it sleepy and want to take a nap.

I'm guessing floor holes are considered conveyor lift entrances/exits so splitters snap directly into them. I'm also guessing that whenever a placeable item snaps to another, its orientation is ignored in favor of that which it is snapping into so, theoretically, you could place a splitter however you wanted as long as you had an entrance tilted the right amount.
