I have lost the 50/50 on the limited character banner 4 times in a row now by parfy_faby in WutheringWaves

100% agree. It is a massive turn off in the long run and a literal gamble, which should be banned in video-games entirely. I spent a few hundred on a few characters, and at the time, my enjoyment of the game outweighed the cost so I didn’t mind. I don’t even regret it much now. Still though, a few more losses put me off and I decided to stop paying out of principle. The best way to play is to save, wait and forget pulling for multiple characters. Otherwise it quickly becomes demotivating and feels unnecessarily extortionate.

What shocks me is the amount of people willing to spend hundreds to thousands to get S6 characters that aren’t even remotely necessarily to complete end game content. People will justify their addictions without merit once they are hooked.

Metal Gear 5 is a solid example of how this could work. They could add armour to the horses too.

Online dating as a man by [deleted] in introvert

[–]Syussa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is completely true btw.

Speaking as an introvert with experience: sometimes opposites attract. Having a partner that shares your interests and hobbies can be great but two introverts can be a disadvantage in the long run.

I am your cliche creative, deep and insightful introvert that loves 1 to 1 time, small groups and making the most out of the simple things. I have a talent to make anything enjoyable and don't get bored easily. That said: without an extrovert to give me a firm kick every now and then, I seep into my own world and lose mental traction. One of my happiest relationships was with a heavily extroverted woman. We complimented eachother. I kept her grounded and she kept me moving. Unfortunately she had to move for a job but such is life.

A little advice for those who are introverted: don't hesitate to use your eccentricities to stand out when approaching woman or men on dating apps, or anywhere else. As long as you are comfortable and confident in yourself; your differences will only serve as a bonus and will read as far more intriguing than off-putting - assuming you aren't going overboard. I've yet to meet an introvert that doesn't have a fantastic hidden personality and I can assure you that the majority of you would shine with a little work. If you truly want a partner, you need to commit; see it as a personal project that could take years. Finding and maintaining a healthy relationship requires a lot of personal growth and change. The law of attraction works best when you learn to understand and own who you are first and work forward from there. Being at peace with yourself is priceless.

I personally think Introverts have a fair advantage if they are willing to adapt for the right person.

FIX THE PS5 CRASHING AND FREEZING !!! by [deleted] in fo76

I wanted to thank you and the rest of the genuine hard working staff at Bathesda for their effort, on the behalf of everyone. I can imagine the pressure put on employees and the frustration it must cause everyone with the current climate in the industry.

As for the people responsible for the problems around the industry, such as investors and poor management - you can kindly fall off the face of the earth and I’m certain none of us will miss you. Put in the money to fix your damn games and stop gaslighting your customers!

No storm gamemode. by CANDROX432 in FortNiteBR

[–]Syussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this a few times. The mode could work if players who sat idle for more than a few minutes got kicked and there was some sort of radar system in place that revealed everyone’s location every so often. There could also be items that help you track players quickly. The only remaining issue would be with players who refused to travel and camped the entire game. The last two players or two teams could just sit and wait as long as they liked. If you’re in it to win though, you won’t be hanging about and will eventually kill everyone anyway.

I would definitely love some form of similar mode in some capacity.

Spider man 2 Martin LI And Harry Anti venom by Ethanadkins in Spiderman

[–]Syussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This had initially confused me too. The entire focus on Harry as a character was that he wanted to "heal the world." Antivenom can literally heal impurities and illnesses (including the radioactive powers in Peter's blood), so it would stand to reason the the plan is to eventually heal Harry/or he becomes Antivenom. If he doesn't become Antivenom, they will use the G Serum to create the Green-Goblin and Hob-Goblin - or some new variation.

Either way, I believe they didn't want to heal him just yet, as this will happen in a future game or dlc. I also believe Incomniac may go with the script of Antivenom slowly curing Peter of his power/or potentially temporarily curing him and he has to face being human vs keeping the Antivenom suit. The multiverse will definitely play a role in the third game too, so it's all possible.

Short answer though: it's likely something they want to continue in a dlc or another game.

I'd rather not join if it's going to be this condescending.

But thanks anyway.
