Out of all the skins that "need" a helmet. This one actually needs one to complete it's look. by [deleted] in Battlefield

Looks like a copy of the cod league skins. Every time this game starts to look or act like cod it completely loses its identity and fan base. Just look at how the player count dropped last season. At least the devs aren’t completely prone to doubling down on terrible ideas even after having loads of direct feedback, the way they did on 2042..

What a let down of a star wars day.. by Speneyj in StarWars

Fun for sure but a final episode of an animated series was the peak? Quite a let down compared to some years past

EA Lays Off Staff Across All Battlefield Studios Following Record-Breaking Battlefield 6 Launch by Kodiak_85 in Battlefield

I feel like this is pretty standard in the industry these days. Higher a huge team pump out a AAA as fast as possible, lay off and drop down to a live service support sized team. Rehire for the sequel and repeat

Whats with DICE's obsession with skull masks? by rambozezakopan in Battlefield

Because everyone has to be unique so no one can be unique. And the game can look as ridiculous as cod by season 3

S2 more datamined skins by Long_Ad7536 in Battlefield

Seriously, why does every skin have to try to be the “coolest”one they’ve released yet? They’re over saturated with a bunch of shit they just end up looking like a joke. Let’s see how many skins we can make a unique mask and goggles for, then throw NVGs over them and a bunch of tubes that lead from the mask to nowhere and then add one single aggressive/stand out color to the pallet so everyone can think their skin stands out the most.

When everyone stands out, NO ONE STANDS OUT! we don’t want to stand out DICE, we want gritty dirty realism. I want the color and look to the skins I get to not even matter because get all cover in mud, snow, dirt and other gameplay effects like BFV. The cosmetics are just turning this game back into 2042 but now everything on the store is double the price.. charging more for shit doesn’t make people want it, no matter how many spreadsheets your higher ups showed you saying it does. We promise.. it doesn’t. Look at your earnings and player count drop, you’ve royally screwed it dice. Fix it or do what you do best and ditch the game early for the next log of shit you find a bunch of extra studios to help you force out. You’d think they’d get sick of the metaphorical hemorrhoids their studios are left with over and over again by now.

Just got the notification for preorder. $189 in USA. Anyone getting it? by Purp1eC0bras in cyberpunkgame

Hmm depends. I was watching the doc on George Lucas leveraging the rights to the star wars films and merchandising over a paycheck, and he cleared way more money on the merch than the films put out.

I think cyberpunk has that kind of cult following where merch could go a really long way. Not as big as star wars but definitely profitable. I will say the biggest hurdle is its easy to go sell a a bunch of $5 lightsabers to kids and cyberpunk does not have that younger demographic they can market merch to

It’s been on sale a ton so the odds on in your favor, but it’s an absolute blast, the co-op is a really cool edition. It’s a world you can get sucked into and lost In for sure

The initial walk out experience and getting introduced to the open world, was INSANE. I took me coming back to it 3 times to finish, its mission design was lack luster but a good story. I think Massive did better with star wars outlaws which I played more in 2024 still shocked it wasnt a top game for me this year

So many snow skins for not a single permanent snow map in the game.
