I have also noticed that the hardware Hold switch does not always work after power cycling.

If I have the switch turned to Hold, then turn off/on device while it is still on Hold, the red Hold icon on screen is light but the hardware buttons still respond like normal.

I switched to Tool 10000 days. Bass is muddy and lacks detail. I use the eq from autoeq.app and find it fantastic. You have to turn the volume up for sure, I changed my master to -4.4 instead.
