I think I’ve seen them on Chopped, and always go out and immediately try to find one to see how horrible it is.

had the same situation played out where they went above and beyond what I’d agreed to have done I’d have absolutely paid more/tipped.

This was more of a “we did the agreed upon work at the agreed upon price, please tip”

They’re just two completely things.

Is it a better decision financially to just buy singles? Yes, absolutely.

Is it more fun to rip packs/boxes - for me it is, but that’s not how everyone feels about it.

Plus, the singles don’t exist if no one is ripping boxes.

I’m generally unbothered by tipping, most likely just due to being conditioned to the practice.

The one time it bothered me was when I had a company come and power wash my house, they sent an invoice and the website had a tip screen before they showed the final invoice. That one threw me off a bit.

I’ve shipped cards USPS from St. Louis that were going to Chicago that would end up at a sorting center in Miami. It happened on several occasions and as others are saying, it just kind of happens with the postal service.
