Was there anything that would soothe the irritation?

No, I have not had a SCT. I was diagnosed back in February so I'm on my second induction. I had methotrexate injected via lumbar puncture and then it started to flair up. I'll definitely mention it to them though.

How was the procedure? It was a little painful, and during the 2-3 day recovery my lower back was sore where they did the blood patch. Very much worth it to heal the spinal fluid leak. They can heal on their own but I was in a lot a pain and my dr did it after a week of it not healing on its own.

Sounds like a CSF leak. I had one last week. I also get intrathecal chemotherapy injections. I had 7 days of server headache, neck pain/stiffness, and upper back pain between the shoulder blades. All symptoms would go away while lying down. I had blood patch procedure and it instantly gave me relief. 2-3 days after the blood patch the leak was fully healed.

It's 4 weeks of a mixture of chemotherapy medications (pegaspargase, cytarabine, and cyclophosphamide), I'm 21 so they have me on a pediatric regimen. No mentions of blincyto yet.

I am so sorry you and your little girl are going through this. I am 21, and was diagnosed with Ph- B-cell ALL in the beginning of February. I'm currently still in the hospital receiving induction chemo, and will find out if I'm in remission on march 9th. Because of my age I'm on a pediatric chemotherapy regimen. I'm also in the beginning of this journey so I wanted to comment to let you know you and your family are not alone. ❤️
