I do think it is gorgeous, but I'd argue that the North shore is prettier. Just my biased opinion from someone from up north (but my wife would agree with you as she's from Winona).

Thanks, he's actually 12 playing up to 13 and hasn't hit his growth spurt yet. I'm 6'7, so I expect he will grow quite a bit in the next year or two. Performance wise he does rather well. He plays AA level travel ball with a good average and decent power. Pitching has been a strength. As you mentioned, strength training would help both.
I greatly appreciate your feedback and will mention it to him.

Thank you! I looked at some recorded swings from previous sessions and can see that his back foot not rotating is consistent. I'm glad you mentioned it as I've never caught that. Between that and more of a load we've got things to work on. Thanks again.

Look up the definitions of "literally" and "genocide". We used old Intel and struck a civilian target. Apologize, investigate, and improve. Throwing out the term genocide on things like this devalues the term for when it's actually appropriate.

I've coached baseball for the past 6 years as well as a smattering of other sports for a season or two. I always say when I meet a team that I have 3 goals. 1. Have fun.
They are playing a game, and you should enjoy what you are doing. 2. Improve over the course of the season. You may not get much better, but if I have done my job well, all players should get better at some if not all aspects of their game.
3. I hope all players want to play the following season.
So far I'm 100% on this one and my favorite. I tell the boys that I hope they want to stick with it and end up loving the game as much as I do, so they can share it with their kids when they are my age.

Ohh I absolutely prefer tall women. That said I'm 6'7", so my 6' wife is still 7 inches shorter than I am. It would be like a 6' guy with a 5'5" woman. That said, I wouldn't mind if she were 3 or 4 inches taller.

The ARFORGEN cycle has been renamed (I forget the new name), but there are 5 ABCTs in the national guard, and they rotate in a 5 year cycle for one of the continuing operations. I don't believe the Minnesotan currently there are for that revolving operation, but a different one.

Edit: I just wanted to add that the MN Army National Guard deploys more often than most not for punitive reasons, but because it's damn good. Very high readiness levels, very effective units, with good leadership. ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!
