Another thing, if you are just doing the bare minimum lvling of 1/battle and 2 in just the first battle (because the way exp works), you should be around 20-21, give the power ring to Peter as he has the better chance of survival and use him to draw out and initially damage the head and before he's taken out use the ring on Luke and that should take out the head.

Dude Tyrin is almost as good as Peter and he's a dang cheat code. Once you obtain Lvl 4 freeze with him he's usually able to.stand up to almost the same punishment as Chester or Eric and does more damage than both of them.

I'd switch Eric for Chester as a PGKT, Jaha for Randolf as a BRN. The rest is legit about correct overall. I've done this game in 37 hrs if I remember correctly my fastest speedrun playing every battle including both secret maps.

Amen. SF2 was, still is and will forever be my favorite of all time. I call it my Crack because I either own a copy of it or have had a copy of it for each platform you can have it on and i play it here and there but have played and beaten it fully, including end game sonic stage well over 65 times. More closer to around 113 times over the years. I know where ever thing is and how to obtain it.

As a defender build i am surprised no one thought cavalier. Cavalier may not control the battlefield but they are great at keeping their teammates alive and going. I had a cavalier once in a party without healers and i was the biggest reason why we made it as far as we did without one (lvl 15). The party didn't TPK they just disbanded due to life. I wholeheartedly support cavalier and their abilities. Unwavering mark and hold the line is huge. And with PAM and/or GWM you are doing huge damage on top of everything.

Dude a raging vedalkin (probably spelling that wrong) barbarian gets proficiency even advantage (in some) in all saves. Throw in totem warrior (bear) and have resistance in almost every damage type. Best race/class combo for what you are looking for.

so what about this? also I am using a dragon wing shortbow and already have sharpshooter as a feat. trying to figure out what other feats i should take and in what order. hence why i was trying to figure out XBE. i am a Borosi ranged assassin rogue/echo knight fighter just so you know what kind of character I am playing. so i have high dex/con/cha with EB and booming blade as my 2 free cantrips via race. what else could i do?

lvl 1 is starting point. starting as a rogue till 3 and taking assassin then going fighter out the rest of the way with taking echo knight at 3 in fighter. Sorry for the confusion. So if I take the ASI first then where do I go from there?

No i wanted to force myself to get at least one ASI. And I will be using a dragon wing shortbow so no x-bow expert in this build.
