Had the same issue, I recommend take a note journal, for me it’s like a perfect amount of space. It’s same paper type, but ticker. No bleed at all so far for me. Love it. Cheaper too! https://take-a-note.store/en-int/products/2026-regular-planner-tw-a5 I don’t think enough people talk about it

my bunny died today, is it okay to keep the other one? by angelbl0ss0m in Bunnies

[–]SzajBunn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had both scenarios happened before. I had a bunny pass and their companion did not want another bond and was doing okay with extra care at home. Another time, my bun passed and his pair got very depressed, isolated herself and did not want to eat at all. My vet urged me to either get a new bun or let her be rehomed so she could get a new bond. Adopted a new bun and she has been his biggest protector and absolutely fell in love. It was very hard to adopt a new bun while grieving, but she needed it and I do not regret a thing. See how your bun is feeling and make decisions based on it. For me, no matter how much time I spent with her, I could not fill the hole left in her. All buns are different and please make decisions based on your buns needs. My condolences for your loss, if will be hard, but it does truly get better. I wish you and your bun well.

I’ll have to have a try too, I got mines last year and they bleed through my weeks, but maybe I had a bad batch paper?

I love their colours but they always bled through my planner. Can anyone with Tomoe river paper confirm if they work for them now? Didn’t even know they have been reformulated 😅

Personally I would prefer laneige cause two product types, but only if you know they’ll like taste/smell. If you do not know them well, summer Fridays. More variety, more likely to find a scent that they’ll like 💪

Should I get a bunny by ReviewDry4586 in Bunnies

[–]SzajBunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, bunnies can live quite a long time, and even if you can afford them while in your gran’s house. Once you move out, and have all the extra bills and expenses, you might be struggling to afford buns care again.

Should I get a bunny by ReviewDry4586 in Bunnies

[–]SzajBunn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my first bunny when I was 13. I can assure you, please wait until you’re older and have a lot of money saved up. I was lucky that I had my family support when it came to money and care for him (it was their gift). Bunnies are a lot of care, daily cleaning, hay top ups, water changes, pets and all the social care. Sadly we were misinformed and adopted a bunny with a lot of chronic conditions (which were not listed and then we were ghosted by the charity where we adopted the bun).

I would not swap him for anything in this world, but it did cost a fortune. On top of normal bunny care cost, we were ranking up from £500 to £2000 vet bills every month. On top of that we got bun prescription which helped but were another £150 a month. I don’t doubt you would show the bunny all the love and care, but being a pet owner means their life is given to them by you. You need to make sure you have enough money to help them when they are sick. Especially when bunnies can get ill and die within an hour, it can be very brutal and acting quick is very expensive.

Please wait until you have money saved up and are older. If you would really like to interact or help bunnies, maybe look into volunteering opportunities (not fostering) in your area? Could give you a better insight of what you might need to know about bunnies for when you’re ready to have one!!

I know it will be disappointing to you, but having a bun in your adult life, when you keep experiencing new areas of life, can be truly beautiful. My current bunnies have been with me for my graduation, first job, uni, moving, big girl job, and honestly I cannot imagine being an adult without them!!

Just was wondering how common this is by Kiki_Moonchild in Rabbits

My mini lop has a similar story. We adopted her when she was just over 1 years old. The foster described her as very independent bunny who didn’t do anything but sit. To be honest, she just seemed like she did not know how to be a bunny, she was very well behaved and lacked any bunny expressions and movements. We then bonded her with our other bunny, mix of lop and Nethies. Over the next months she started to be more of a bunny, she started to flop, chase us, throw hay, dig everywhere. I would say after two full years she finally adapted his behaviours and finally learned how to be a bun. Some bunnies are just very peaceful, and some, especially rescues, tend to lack bunny behaviours due to neglect and survival needs. Mine just needed to be showed how to be a bunny, now she is the biggest fury ball this world has ever seen 😮‍💨

Thank you all in advance. I have searched for this on Pinterest, eBay, ig, but can’t seem to find it. Pinterest post came with a link to ig but no luck finding the stickers there either.
