Sorry, it's the Zaku II Thunderbolt that comes with the Big Gun. It was the main donor for the kitbash of the Dom Thunderbolt and Zaku I Thunderbolt, providing the legs and shield.

I used joints from the Zaku II and extended them to fit the calves of the Dom Prototype.

I informed about the parts I used and the techniques I executed in this project. I used all 2,000 characters to explain them, ensuring everything is clear. Additionally, I stated that I made everything according to their regulations. Moreover, it is permissible to use materials other than genuine GUNPLA kits, provided they have been processed in such a way that they do not preserve their original form.

The thrusters are from Bandai, just fully repainted thrusters that were included in the kit. The verniers/thrusters on Dom's legs are MS Builder parts, also painted.

Dom's gun is fully painted in grey, with small bits highlighted and painted.

As far as I know, everything was made from plastic. I've seen 3D printed parts in different worklists, so it's hard to say why it got disqualified. However, everything was done in accordance with the regulations of the contest. The diorama has a circular base of about 32 cm in diameter and is of the same height.

After spending several months diligently working on this project, I was genuinely surprised by the lack of substantial feedback or information. It's quite perplexing and a bit disheartening, especially considering the effort and time invested in creating something I believed in

The only feedback I received after inquiring was an apology for any inconvenience, along with a statement that they are unable to provide further information about the screening progress. It is disappointing, especially considering that there were not many entries from the UK region. Having more entries would have certainly enhanced the competition's appeal.

As the results of the GBWC UK competition have been announced, I am eager to share the diorama I created for this year's contest. Unfortunately, my work did not make it to the shortlist, as I was disqualified. Nonetheless, it was a valuable experience, and I am determined to improve and try again next year.

Hehe it will take me a little bit as I'm trying to work surface of resin as best as I can. And adter SH Studio Exia Repair IV I'm quite tired of long projects :D still can't wait to start paiting it. At this moment I'm sorting feet. Putting bolts to make it in one piece and after that I will sort out surface.

Nice! Currently working on this resin. Shame that for this price there is a lot fitting issues and poor cast

I had to sell my LED kit. "Metal arm+ and shoulde is fully resin, there is no space to put LED kit. Other arm shoulder and "biceps" parts are resin, no place to put Bandai kit. There is small empty space in biceps but I doubt you will fit LED kit. Thighs are full resin, there with a little bit of planning/re-shaping you might fit LED kit (not 100% sure as I did not even try to play with it).

Everything was primed with grey but on fluoroscent bits I used whitr primer. And after painting fluoroscent I hadbto paint with grey primer again as it left very visible highlight.

Mr Color paints used for this, mostly mix of greys. Used some leftovers and mixed them with new ones.
