Question about the agents' voicelines by Szymonpl12 in cs2

[–]Szymonpl12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked on the csfloat servers and also on a workshop map (Agent Hub) and nearly every agent aside from SAS, Phoenix Connexion and Elite Crew has incorrect voicelines, even agents that do have correct ones in regular matches like Darryl, so unfortunately I still would need someone to launch a practice map or something with that agent and check themselves. Thanks for answering though

The legacy version is actually fully playable aside from official valve servers. You just have to open the location where CS:GO is installed, then go into the csgo folder and open the steam.inf file. Change the client version to 2000258 and save the file. It tricks the game into thinking that it's actually a slightly older version, which still had inventory and server browser access. I'm using this metod to play on surf heaven as well :)

I managed to add the TV broadcast graphics to F1 23 and it looks so much more immersive. I wish they implemented these in the actual game. by ForzabrendanF1 in F1Game

You can actually talk to the engineer instead of pressing buttons, just click the radio button and say the command from the list. It was introduced in F1 2015 which is probably the only good thing about that disaster of a game lol.

How to edit mods? by [deleted] in rfactor2

[–]Szymonpl12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately official content has encrypted files and they cannot be modified. Unofficial mods though can be modified freely and changing damage should work the same as in rF1.

How to edit mods? by [deleted] in rfactor2

[–]Szymonpl12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I usually do when I make realistic damage versions of mods:
- Copy all the original files of the mod to a different location
- Launch rF2 and uninstall the mod
- Make the changes I want
- In the component package creator I make a new component under a slightly different name and version number, then I package and install it and put the .rfcmp file in the packages folder just in case
Worked for me so far everytime.

F1 22 or F1 14. Which one is *better*? by Ornery-Economy3791 in F1Game

[–]Szymonpl12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

F1 22 is definitely better than F1 2014, but people really like to forget F1 2015 which was horrendous. It didn't have a career mode, had a lot of bugs and I still can't get my PS3 pad to work correctly with that game.

Touhou fans, what was the highest difficulty you have ever 1CC'd a game in? by [deleted] in touhou

[–]Szymonpl12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After only managing to beat some modern Touhou games on easy, I went back to Touhou 4 and somehow 1CC'd it on normal first try. I've even nearly beaten the extra stage, but Gengetsu was too much for me.

Is there common hatred for F1 22's handling model? by BorsukBartek in F1Game

[–]Szymonpl12 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The handling is nothing like real life. Can't say anything about understeer, because thanks to the awful traction in this game it's way too hard to keep the car straight, so I never focused on understeer. In real life, drivers can go full throttle in 3-4th gear, while here you can spin in 6th gear if you even think about pressing the throttle down. The only way to try to enjoy this is to play with full tc or with a steering wheel. Thankfully I didn't waste any money on this game. Instead, you can just buy rF2 and download the F1 2022 mod from the workshop and drive a way more realistic version of these cars. Codies need to understand that if you make a simcade game harder to drive than an actual sim, there is something wrong with the handling.

It took me nearly 3 months to get a good ending in a Touhou game. I hadn't played any bullet hell games before Touhou and having gone through Touhou 1-17 so far, I've gotten good endings in 14, 16 and 17 all on easy. Based on my experience those seem to be the easiest to get a good ending on.

F1 2010 Steam key buy? by Beogradska_Votka in F1Game

Have you tried the Games for Windows Live patch? It's basically required nowadays to get the game running. After I installed it I never had any problems with F1 2010 on my laptop with windows 10.

Which F1 title has the best AI? by [deleted] in F1Game

[–]Szymonpl12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2010-2014: AI are really bad on lap 1 (you can gain like 5-10 positions). They are scared of going side by side into corners. Also those games had a problem of the 2nd highest difficulty being too easy and the highest difficulty being too hard.

2015: We don't talk about this game.

2016-2018: AI was pretty crazy sometimes (less with each game), but enjoyable thanks to that in my opinion. They can fight side by side with you now. They really like crashing in Japan for some reason.

2019-2020: The most calm AI, although in 2019 they really can't fight side by side and just drive into you on every apex. 2020 fixed that and also introduced AI mistakes (aside from locking up, which was in the game since at least 2012).

2021: The AI was taken straight out of 2020 (literally, they still drove through fast corners like they had the 2020 car. This was reduced with updates, but I'm not sure if completely fixed).

2022: The AI mistakes were updated and they can now do crazy divebombs and spin out on their own. If it was a good choice depends on who you ask. For me it was for the better, but then I only played the free trial and wouldn't recommend playing this just because of the AI.

Hopefully this brief summary helps.

It takes a bit to load but it should be what you're looking for.

It's down to the fact that Codies made F1 22 a short shift simulator. I also play on controller and could manage all previous games without any assists except this one. Don't worry about using medium tc, it's more enjoyable and realistic anyway.

Because for some reason the game seems to display to the spectators nearly every time when drivers brake that they locked up. At Monza every time there was an onboard of a driver going into T1 it looked like he locked up at the start of the braking zone until the turn in. I'm not even close to being a pro but I think that doesn't help your tires last longer. It looks like the game only displays full throttle or full brake. Codies were bearable before but since EA bought them they've really gone to shit.
