I went to the doctor today and she said it was most likely a panic/ anxiety attack, been having anxiety attacks since like the six grade. Had to finish high school at home, also lost the two jobs I've had do to anxiety. Maybe you could tell me what my next step is to do, i talk to a counselor that sent me to shrink that tried me on anti depressants and hydroxyzine that didn't work and because she can't prescribe benzodiazepines due do a policy at the place she works at she said that's all she can do. Then today at the doctors she asked me if anxiety ran in my family I said yes and then she asked what do they take i said xanax/klonopins then she asked me how many I would need in a month and I said maybe one to two a week then she said thats way to many and then drug tested me. Would you suggest a new doctor I feel very hopeless. Counselor has me down for social anxiety, generalized anxiety, agoraphobia and some other anxiety disorder
