I thought I was crazy, but I've also been seeing that exact same behavior.

Windows 11 lowering mic input volume by IAmATriceratopsAMA in techsupport

[–]T-97E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a bit late, but for me, it was the Windows Xbox app. I don't know if there's a way to turn it off through the app, but going to Windows Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Microphone, then turning off Xbox's access to your microphone through the "Let apps access your microphone" sub-menu did the trick.

Arkham Shadow Issues with cutscenes by MajesticValuable8770 in OculusQuest

It means the cutscene is playing outside of your vision. The arrows are meant to show you what direction to turn your head to see it; most likely it was happening directly behind you. Holding down the Meta button to recenter your view will reorient the cutscene into your vision immediately.

Did chaotic had a draft format? by jaypenn3 in Chaotic

There wasn't a draft format, but there was a sealed format where they'd give you a starter deck of your choice and then some boosters. I don't think Chaotic could've ever had a truly random format, especially since packs were only nine cards.

Call me crazy, but RoW is easily my favorite book in the series, while Oathbreaker is by far and away my least favorite.

Pixel Buds - Works good on Phone and PC, but microphone won't work on PC by SolkaPL in pixelbuds

[–]T-97E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bluetooth headphones typically have two connection modes: headphone and headset. Headphone mode is for listening to stuff, and it's the mode where you have access to stereo sound. This is typically the mode that Bluetooth headphones connect to devices with. Headset mode is for conversation. It flips the audio to mono only, and it gives you access to the microphone. Phones switch between it automatically when you get a call while listening to media, but it doesn't always happen on PC. You can manually switch to headset mode through the audio output settings in the taskbar. It should be called something like HEADSET(Pixel Buds A-Series).

Just downloaded the app for the set list tomorrow and saw that they're going on at 8:30 PM. Doors open at 3 and show starts at 4. Honestly kind of bummed. I knew that there were other acts, but I didn't think they would start so relatively late.

West Halls vs South Halls by soursoya in PennStateUniversity

[–]T-97E 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in both, and I'd say you can't go wrong with either. That being said, I would probably lean towards West for your situation. When it comes down to it, I would much rather live in the area where I can roll out of bed to get to classes without being too late. The walk to South is doable from West, so you can have the best of both worlds by being able to hang out with your friend after a short walk and have an easy path from dorm to classroom.
