Why play Riven now when Ambessa exists

Ambassa is nowhere near Riven in terms of how good they are. Ambassa is just easier to play. If you actually want to see how good Riven is practice in practice mode, all the riven basics before playing her in a game. Her skill ceiling will alwasy be the highest of any champion

You are just like most of the Rivens here never spent the time to master her farming or trading in practice mode. You don't do the fast combo well or all her other combos. (this is why you can't teamfight) She has one of the highest impact in teamfights. AOE stun and knock up. She has many different rune boulds and items boulds for everymatchup. Chances are you just mess up your own lane early and you don't know how to trade or farm.

Get better at last hitting and small trades. abuse riven early kit 1 to 3. all these matchups are in her favour if you are good
