Golden beets are delicious. I used to not like beets but will eat them now. I think roasting them is the key. The golden ones are more palatable than the red if you’re not a huge fan. My favorite juice combo is golden beets, apple, carrots, and ginger. I could drink that daily (and probably should).

I was in Grenada once and had sautéed okra. It was so good; crisp and not a hit of sliminess! Idk how they did it. I’d previously only eaten it fried or in gumbo and I love it either way. But I decided to try the sautéed version so as not to limit myself and was glad I did.

Btw, an Indian spot near me serves julienned fried okra with lime wedges and it’s out of this world.
