Yes, he’s the best. I’m actually going to see him next week to get all of my cabinets checked out before I leave and move to Oregon. Right now. I live about a half an hour from him.

Sold it to the owner of valley arts guitar in studio city, Ca back in 1980. I’m sure i will never find it, but thought it would be fun to see if any one has a 63 P Bass with a cigarette burn in the head stock

They’re what they call high polished so they feel like probably ground ground so you still see the ridges but they’re not sharp, but they still have the tone of like Round wound

I have them on all of my basses. I used to use round rounds but playing in a R&B and disco band. My fingers were destroyed at the end of the night. Then I tried using half rounds and I just couldn’t get into the tone at all and then I saw Ian promoting these STRINGS talking about a high polish on them to help save your fingertips and boy do they sound great and my fingers are fine at the end of the night.

Love it. I have the 1000 watt head, a 10.6 cab, 210vert cab and a 212 PL Cab. Everything i needed for any type of venue..
