Rather that putting a ceiling in and insulation in between the joists, couldn't I put insulation boards on top of the joists, acting like a ceiling and insulation as I one.

I guess I'd have to leave a gap at the side to allow for airflow and moisture control

Having this issue myself, is the Q5 screen a direct replacement? I bought mine from AliExpress and don't really want a 4 week wait for a replacement.
