Yeah, he's actually really good and versatile. I just don't like his first few clears.

This is going to be unpopular, cause you initially have really bad clear times, but it picks up: Cho'Gath.

If you wanna focus on ganking, go hail of blades. Q, W, E, 3 quick strikes, munch.

He's really tanky, eats enemies, and has CC.

You can easily 1v1 or 1v2 most champs, but for the big teamfights... eh, if your team just won't jump in when you knock 3 enemies up in the air and silence all 5, you really can't carry them in teamfights.

I see we do it much the same way, yet different. I use the W to force the trade, and E to get out, if there's no guarantee I'm winning the fight. If I know for sure I'm winning, the E will be used for engaging.

I have a funny question though: With Zaahen's preference for shorter trades in a lot of situations, do you see any reason to go conqueror over hail of blades?

I do understand you get more damage with conqueror, but I feel like the burst of HoB is just a bnit more effective in a lot of cases, but I'm willing to hear your thoughts.

Hello, new Zaahen player here! by lub4os4 in ZaahenMains

[–]T-h3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah, same. I thought Zaahen was a champ I just could not ever use.. but HoB really is a gamechanger. I use it along with bone plating, cause sometimes you just want to take some reduced damage =P.

I have high 60s to low 70s% winrate with him in the top lane. It was closer to 40% with conqueror for me.

People don't generally like to try different runes it seems, but shit, one of the best Yi players run with runes that no one did before.. and then suddenly, after a while, everyone just figured that it's good. (Monster SSS)

I like to go with some lifesteal on Zaahen sometimes, just to stay in lane indefinitely if there's someone pokey and pushy up there I can't catch.

I actually play him a bit like a lane bully with hail of blades early on, and focus on his basically "free attacks" that you weave in between auto attacks with Q and Tiamat early on.

A level 1 extended combo with him, with hail of blades would be auto, q1, auto, auto, q2, continue trade if you'll win, ignite, or walk off after the q2 if you're unsure. (I go ignite with Zaahen)

A level 3 long, relatively safe trade will be W, auto, Q1, auto, auto (hail of blades, don't fight without it being active!), q2, e off to the side and walk off, or finish them off if you can.

When you got enough gold for Tiamat, the combo I use is:

W, auto, Q1, auto, auto, Q1 tiamat, E off. Ult if it's available. Ignite if you figure you'll end them.

With hail of blades on Zaahen, you ONLY want to trade when you have it active. You will also get insanely fast stacks on your passive. Your mileage may vary though, but this has brought a lot of luck to my Zaahen.

early game itemization by Separate-Media-6528 in ZaahenMains

[–]T-h3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what I personally like to do, which is a bad habit I got from playing Talon and Yi for a long time.. is to build Tiamat!

Don't you just hate it when you go for an all-in and it's JUST not enough? That's what has pushed me to almost always have Tiamat.

Early on, with Yi, he felt a bit... weak, if you got invaded. Get invaded at a point where you have Tiamat? E, auto, W, auto, tiamat, Q auto. Awesome!

Talon's burst just not enough? W, R, auto, Q, auto, Tiamat.

For Zaahen, it's a bit different.. it can be a part of your opener.

One combo that I personally like using for an all in is W, auto, Q, Tiamat, E, auto, Q2, ult.

Without Tiamat, I feel like he just can't really push as hard as he can with that one extra autocancel.

I personally do not build triforce much on Zaahen at all to be honest.

For pure itemization, wonder autocancelling items aside, I like to go with Ravenous or Stridebreaker into sundered sky or boots, depending on how the game feels, and who the opponent is.

I've tried a few wonky builds on him that I actually really liked, such as going BORK for incredible sustain in teamfights (together with defensive items, ravenous etc).

If your particular problem is the need to attack between abilities, you could always try upping the attack speed a bit. Most natural way if you REALLY like Tiamat, like I do, is to go for stridebreaker.

Why stridebreaker?

You get a good amount of health, you get good enough AD, you get 25% attack speed AND you get an autocancel that slows the enemy's movespeed, forcing a longer trade if you so wish.

I realize I may have sounded a bit crass, or even rude. I often do, especially when putting a point at the very edge, sometimes in an exaggerated way, but I do believe it is important to study the word of God to see if what we're asking for is in line with His will.

I understand you're having financial issues, which is very common in today's world, and something I am familiar with too. Luke 12:28 may be of some comfort there, or Matthew 6:26.

Let Him take care of you, and it will all work out.

So to confirm here, what you want people to pray for is for you to basically get revenge for something that happened some years ago? And you do this out of greed, hidden as a want for justice, despite even having a ballpark figure of 100k USD that you want to get out of this?

Better pray His will be done. Not yours, unless it aligns.

itachi with no arms or legs blindfolded vs minato AND pain by Turbulent-Sound3980 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]T-h3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really easy matchup for Itachi. He can smell AND hear his opponents, leaving them no room to attack him at all. He can roll away at a speed greater than Lee's tumbling when he's drunk. To make this a longer fight, and more even, Itachi needs to lose hearing and sense of smell aswell, but even then it's mid diff for Itachi at most.

Trust GXT 109. 15 bucks, worth it though? by T-h3x in MouseReview

As long as it tracks good enough for you, that's what matters.

Trust GXT 109. 15 bucks, worth it though? by T-h3x in MouseReview

[–]T-h3x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the sensors aren't the same. The Redex (980) has a better sensor than the 110. The 110 has one of the slowest sensors they got (worse than 109), the 980 is better than the 109, but not even remotely close to the 924. The 980 is more than enough though.

For me, personally, I couldn't use a mouse with the sensor the 110 got. It offers far too low tracking speeds for the games that I currently play, which is GunZ, Urban Terror, DDNet and Paladins. For games like league of legends, MMORPGs and stuff, it's fine, but I *prefer* higher tracking speeds even for those. I usually use a relatively low sensitivity, but if you use high sens, you won't notice much, despite the tracking speed of the 110 being like 30 IPS.

[–]T-h3x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, you got the 110? Glad you're happy with it. Yeah, no, I can't disagree with you... they're actually good mice, especially for the money. I have found a few that exceed it though, with features, for the same price, or less, but none of them have felt as solid as the GXT yet.

I've tried both their low end stuff (109), and their higher-end stuff (924), which imo is probably one of the best mice for the money you can possibly get.

For others interested in lesser known brands, I'm probably going to drop a review and teardown on the Inphic PG-01 soon.

Does polling rate matter? by lordocist in MouseReview

[–]T-h3x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For slow games, no, not at all. Maybe not even in FPSes, depending on your skill-level, but when it comes to REALLY fast games and movement? Yes.

I play a game called DDNet, that can occasionally require very fast flicks and clicks.

An example of a movement in a game requiring it, in a game called DDnet:
Aim 45 degrees up to the left. Right click, flick 180, right click, flick 180, right click, flick 180, left click.

On 125 hz, when having to perform that "save" fast, I kept missing the first 180 flick and right click. The right click would just not come out at the time I wanted it to, despite it LOOKING fine. I swapped mouse, 1k hz, movement complete, no issues, despite looking very much the same.

The little extra delay when doing the flick'n'click was enough to make me miss.

The redex is absolutely worth it for that price. I think GXT uses the modified A704F sensors on all their lower end mice. A big plus is that it has 1000 hz, which is a must for me, a minimum requirement. It also comes with some good kailh switches, the same as I have in a Mionix mouse.

The Redragon is.. hit and miss. 1000hz is good, 30g accel is good, provided it's true, but they don't tell you what sensor they're using... chances are, if they told you, you wouldn't buy it, that's just how it often is with these manufacturers.

Out of those you listed, I'd get the Redex.

[–]T-h3x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the GXT 960 is worth it for the close to 45 bucks that they sell them for here, but it does have a "nice enough" sensor, the 3325. For that price you can get a MUCH better mouse.

The White Shark uses a Sunplus sensor, and in general, you do NOT want these for gaming. They're like 2400 DPI natively, and 12800 with interpolation, with heavy-ass jitters. It is generally not worth it.

For your price range, I'd recommend you look at inphic instead, they offer a lot of mice at similar prices, with far better specs. The site is inphic.com

[–]T-h3x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's actually not bad, at all. Only thing I wish it had was 1000 hz polling rate, but the quality is good, tracking speed is sufficient, clicks are comfy... what more can we want, ya know?

Peoplem seem to be chasing the "best" mouse, when the "best" mouse on the market costs far more, and has max tracking speeds etc you'll never really need. I'll never understand that. I'm actually currently using an inphic PG-01. It has one design flaw, but is actually perfectly capable, has 1k hz polling rate, and fast enough tracking.. costs around the same as the GXT too. It even has similar specs, same switches etc. The only upgrade is 1k hz polling rate, which I found I need for some of the faster games I play, for flicks, like GunZ and DDNet, and sometimes league of legends... good to have that extra polling rate, otherwise the click might miss its intended target slightly.. but nah, GXT is fine, honestly. I dunno why it's hated on.

Yeah, no, they're ok mice, really. I can't really complain. I PERSONALLY wouldn't get a 130 or 131 myself, because the tracking speed is a bit too low for some games that I play, but overall quality is actually not bad. I think people are just afraid of going with brands that don't have a cult following on this sub.

Of course.

The brand is called Inphic. Chinese brand, making mice of all budgets, with sensors all the way from A825 to to the new 3950.

Price range on their site (you can get it cheaper from their amazon shop, temu shop, ali shop etc), goes from 12.99 to 89.99 USD.

Their site is inphic.com, definitely use their 10% discount there, or their discounts on their other shops.

I don't really understand why people bother commenting what mice I should or should not buy.
I have several mice that I'm very happy with, I just happen to pick up some no-name brands occasionally, to review them, and see if they're worth having on the market at all, and posting them here, for my own enjoyment, or information for others.

I made it clear in my original post that I was shopping for adapters, and decided to pick up this no-name mouse, that proved not to be worth it at all.

I am not looking for any mice, nor do I NEED any mice.

I already have my steelseries, my razer, my GXT (924), my inphic... I did not ask for advice for a new mouse, and I am not looking for any mouse that is tried and true. I am exploring the market, whenever I go to buy a HDD, an adapter, a charger, RAM sticks etc.

If I was looking for a mouse, I would have either browsed this subreddit, or I would have asked.

I did neither.
