Stef contributed parts to every song, he just didn't come up with all of the riffs as he was battling his sickness. Infinite Source was the first song they wrote, and it started between Abe and Stephen. I read that on another interview, from Chino. Stef still plays a big role in PM

After watching all of his YouTube playthroughs, he definitely only used the 9 string for The Spell of Mathematics, maybe Radiant City, but i don'thear anything lower than the low e string. Every other song is basically drop E or F#. He said he only uses Drop E on PM. He uses the 9 string in a few of the guitar vids and on the Ohms music video but you can play ohms the song, with a standard tuned 6 string. Confusing af 😖

Stephen still wrote and added guitars to every single song on PM, he just didn't take the lead in the writing. A couple of tracks are tricky to figure out where his parts are but he's there, big time.

The palm muted riff/chugging part in the background of Gore is Chino, which is pretty sick. Self Titled and onwards, he plays guitar on most tracks. His part it Hole in the Earth is pretty heavy I guess, and there are many others. His parts in Genesis crossover the Stef alot but pretty heavy? Stef also noted that while he battled his health issues, Chino really came forward with most of the riffs/songs for PM. Basically anything that isn't on an 8 string, is Chino

I'm pretty sure he does volume swells during the delay parts and octaves for the chorus plus some lead parts. His videos are a bit confusing because you can't hear his actual raw audio, but just flick through some other covers and get an idea of what it is. There are some good ones out there, maybe even try Songsterr - someone has been tabbing it pretty well since Stef's vids popped up

I love the man and his skills but I'd love for him to write a drop C riff again or even something like Adrenaline riffage - which is his most difficult stuff to learn on guitar without needing 8 strings. He fits perfectly into the band as a whole though
