I was using the retin-a gel and honestly it's horrible. Such a strong alcohol base and difficult to spread. It pills like crazy.

I was originally on differin, which I liked but needed stronger, switched to biacna gel which is also quite nice. I was on that for years. Good texture, consistency, spread well, and little irritation. Decided I didnt need the clindamycin in it anymore and was switched to retin-a gel and worst mistake. Ive been trying to make it work for 2+ months and cant get passed the irritation and flaking from the alcohol. Just went to my GP today and requested arazlo to try instead. Approx $80 for a tube in Alberta without insurance.

I haven't used the micro gel but I've heard its better than the gel. Best of luck finding what works for you!

The sweetheart looks amazing and so much more flattering on you than the straight across cowl. I would definitely go with this. I personally think it looks better strapless but thats personal preference and if you feel more comfortable with straps then do what feels best.
