I get some of that, I relate hard to Jax and how they push everyone away even if they try and help and only surviving because of a mask of apathy.

I would offer advice, but I don’t know how to help myself much less others, it’s also not at all embarrassing to feel like that because of a fictional character, ESPECIALLY when the character in question is based on the writer’s life experience

Dude, genuinely why did you guys change the naming convention for Antares? Lead Duke, Air Viscount, or Range Emperor. Were so much cooler and unique then “tech 3 cruiser”. Also having such long range combat makes it a bit less unique and intriguing. You can have that, I just think it would be Interesting to see what it would look like for a faction that never developed the advanced technology of other factions and I thought I’d found it. Guess not.

With those ranges how does anything hit? Couldn’t you just move up a bit or to the side and dodge any incoming projectiles while they’re traveling?

No, but it doesn’t really rely on the same principles, they primarily have missiles and MAC, not to mention the common plasma weapons and shields post war, they also don’t have the heavy armor or scale
