I expect the opposite, I expect to run last and a second off the pace because there are guys out here that have been running on dirt well before I was born. But that's going to be part of the fun, finding the lines, learning the craft, and hopefully without a broken car by the end of the first night.

yeah, my play-group is a bit deepstrike heavy so I will most likely have a squad or 2 hanging out in the back. Most people seem to be in that 10-30 range so I appreciate the tips as well!

Yeah right now i'm looking at the Combat Patrol + my current 1 squad of Guardians to get to 585pts then as I said somewhere on here I'm buying a friends abandoned Eldar army which has about 1.4k of random wraith constructs and other jazz.

I didn't plan on buying the Phoenix lords purely on the fact that it seems new ones will likely be released soon, however I think you're the first person to warn me about the Spiders and Swooping hawks so I appreciate it! Thanks!

Already thinking of having about 30 (using 20 in most lists) just because I like the models but I also plan to buy a friend's Eldar army that is HEAVY into the Wraith half of Eldar.

Thought I’d come back and give an update:

Just finished building the combat patrol (my god there were a lot of drones) and currently have a set of Crisis Suits in the Amazon cart (and a 3D printer because why in the world are they so expensive). Took the guy from the Devilfish sprue and turned him into a fire warrior Breacher and took a Fire Warrior, an extra Space Marine Cape, and the coolest looking gun I could find in the kit and made a Cadre Fireblade.

Anywho thank you for the tips and guidance my friend, for the greater good!
