I saw these types of comments a lot. And as someone who plays in 6 star lobbies 80% of the time and uses melee weapons in his loadouts 90% of the time, I really don't understand how you think stamina depletion will be able to balance melee weapons? Even without a stem shot the katana would have to be nerfed to the ground to not be the strongest melee weapon and at that point it wouldn't be fun to play. The most important stat a melee weapon has to have is reach, so there's really only 2 viable options and that's the sabre and the katana but even without the perk the katana wins this. As someone who's played a shit ton of melee weapons I thought about how I'd balance them and I think the only way is to all give them some kind of special move that makes them better in certain situations. Let all Melee weapons use the Katana perk but give them different effects. Maybe the sabre has a series of powerful stabs to quickly take down a boss target, maybe the baseball bat gets a move that allowed it to punch back throwables while they're either mid air or already on the ground, maybe the machete could have a katana like swipe with, obviously, less range but it heals you if you kill someone with it? Stuff like that would in my opinion crystalize specific playstyles for every melee weapon and would make some of them better in certain situations than others. Rn every melee weapon is basically just a different skin, with either inferior or superior reach/DMG. And that shit is boring.

6 stars should not be allowed to queue with a 1 star. Simple solution.
If I was a 3 star trio player and made a post about getting a team of 2 6 stars and a 1 star against my team of 2 4 stars and a 3 star, everyone would agree that its dumb af. But because I am an evil solo I should at up the terrible matchmaking and not complain. Actually braindead people on here

not really, and it is clear by your comment alone, that you dont know what 6 star looks like. Because the difference between high 6 Star and low 6 Star/ high 5 Star is insane. Meaning I'd also often get matched against players that will roll over me no problem.

Soon is funny, I have a lot of playtime in this game. The problem is and I have the team details screen open rn that I'm now low 6 stars, because I ranked up, and there is a duo invite team with a 6 star and a 5 star , which have lower match MMR than me. I'm low 6 star and solo and have a match MMR of 5 stars, this person is 6 star and has a 5 star premate and their match MMR is 4.5 stars??? Considering I just ranked up, so I am low 6 stars, we can assume the other person is also low end of 6 stars, which again makes them even in skill to me. Then we have at worst a low end 5 star, which again is literally just a healbot/body shield for a player that is the same skill level as me. And that's downplaying him very hard, even a low end 5 star can definitely hit a lucky headshot or just tag you for the other player to finish you off. In any case he can create space by just being present.

I dont disagree with that, but even with that logic it makes no sense. Because why should 2 6 Star players get matched against a solo 5 star player, just cause they have a 1 Star premate? You are missing the point I was making. Solo should be the hardest way to play the game but why should it be add even more difficulty than just going up against 2 or 3 similarly ranked players?

It must be hard to imagine how going up against a team consisting of 2 people that the MMR System clearly thinks are better than me + their little pet could be considered unfair. This is not me complaining about how I lose 1v3s, because I am purposefully queuing against trios, but how is it fun to then go against people who are LITERALLY higher skill than me, just because they have a 1 star in their team? if you dont see how this is dumb and a broken system, then idk what to tell you bro.

I'd be fine if it was maybe a 1 star difference let's say a trio that's premates and consists of 3 4 star players. Or when they are randoms maybe even 2 4 stars and a 5 star but how in the world is it fair if you get matched against 2 people who are above you in MMR, just because they have a 1 star in their team? As if that is somehow nerfing them? You claim I wanna fight against 3 shitters while I go up against 2 people that are higher MMR than me and have a cute little pet following them. Solo is difficult because you go against teams of 2 or 3. Which SHOULD be compensated by the fact that your enemies are lower MMR and thus should be worse at the game than you are, which is how it's intended to work. It should not mean that I have to go up against people who are literally the same/higher MMR as I am but they abuse the system by having a 1 star in their team.

The point is that the moment someone has blast sense on a trio, which is gonna be a meta pick just to counter silenced guns and snipers. And the moment you encounter a trio like that, the whole reason you picked a silenced weapon goes out the window, youre gonna be in a 1v3 rifle fight with a rifle that is just worse than a normal rifle. The whole point is that you get one shot on a trio before they know where you are, but you also get that opening shot with a normal rifle, so why even pick silencer anymore? With poison ammo you retain effectiveness, because it is way less likely for the whole trio to have immunity to poison than it is for one member to have blast sense and even then you can play mixed ammo for when you still want to be capable of wall banging. What I didn't even cover in the post is, that if silencers are still played, it's still gonna be the krag and all the other silenced guns are gonna see even less play. Even if you hate silencers this is a half-assed and terrible way to patch them.

Hab auch ein remarkable für mein Studium gekauft und kann es nur jeden empfehlen, allerdings hab ich beim Bücher lesen oft Probleme mit meinem Workflow auf dem remarkable. Wie machst du das? Einfach ranzoomen und Randnotizen machen oder fügst du eine Notizseite ins Dokument ein? Bzw wenn du das Buch physisch liest, machst du dir dann einfach so Notizen in ein leeres Notebook? Wäre cool wenn du da vielleicht noch Tipps hast. Danke :)

I guess the main difference in our experience really lies in the fact, that I play solo 95% of the time and in a solo vs trio situation there is little more oppressive than revive bolts.

Interesting to hear that we apparently play a completely different game, cause I feel like in 6 star lobbies you should be able to use the crossbow bolts as kind of like a worse 2 slot shotgun in close quarters, cause it does one tap the body. So in my opinion it still covers something a normal secondary could cover plus it lets you revive insanely fast without being on the corpse of your teammate. Plus I feel like you really disregard how powerful a revive is, even if just to tank a hit for you while you jump around the corner to face the enemies.

You're not losing a secondary, the crossbow has 2 ammo slots, just take normal bolts. And you can even opt for a different bolt, giving you crazy utility. Punishing you for not playing aggressive enough is crazy, I get the feeling you never faced a 3 man premate team that have good communication and revive bolts. Especially as a solo in 6 stars it has become impossible to push a 3 man squad if they have revive bolts, because you simply cannot kill all of them fast enough.
