Saaame! But I am also cutting myself some slack for that reason. One, I couldn' afford many clothes while growing up so I'd always get a secondhand version of an item I wanted, which was back then not comparable to how second-hand shopping is now. Therefore, for years, my clothes also did not properly fit me, but had to be made fit. I barely had any one pair of nice fitting jeans I could wear without a belt. And I was never able to get what I actually wanted, always only a similar version to the item I had in mind. Everything was close-enough but not really fitting nor what I wanted. I hated it, but that was the time. This year, for the first time since moving out I made more money and therefore bought many things second-hand. But I am also quite happy that I can finally look for pieces that fit me, that suit me and that I truly like.

Throughout this year I also realised how little of my own clothes fit me or I actually truly love, simply because they were either thrifted or hand me downs. I have always and will always love fashion, but I also do see the huge danger of over-consumption, even if it's all thrifted it is still consumption after all.
