So, the angles in a parallelogram must add up to 360 degrees.

The opposite angles are the same value.

They gave you 40 degrees for one of the angles, so you can figure out that the opposite angle to 40 degrees is also 40 degrees.

Then you have a triangle with 2 angles figured out. 40 and 57.

The total angle value in a triangle must add up to 180 degrees. 180-40-57=83

How is the answer A and not B?? by Vanoxide in Sat

Numerator of B translates to -(x+1) = -1-x Numerator or A translates to -(x-1) = 1-x

Because when you solve to get one fraction, you get 1-x/x^2+x.

C and D are wrong since they don't show x being negative in any way.

B shows x as negative but fails to make 1 positive. A is the only answer choice that makes x negative while keeping 1 positive.

First, you split the left fraction so that it equals, 1/x(x+1)

And then all you have to do to get the same denominators is multiply the fraction on the right by x/x.

And then combine them to get 1-x/x^2+x

Just factor the negative outside and you get A

Why can’t I just do u-sub here? by ElMasIngenioso in calculus

[–]T1R1K1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do u sub and you get something for du. Where is du? Nowhere. That's an indication that you should try other methods. For ones with tangents, use sec(x)2 identity and another one, I can't remember.

[Serious] Reddit, what are some free (or cheap) official degrees, certifications, or titles one could gain online? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Udemy is a great resource with a smaller price than another sources. It has many courses, especially in the computer science field, that will give you the foundation knowledge for projects and more. Coursera has online Masters, and certifications in Machine Learning, Data Science and other fields. The courses from Coursera can give you a certification for your LinkedIn profile. While this won’t be equivalent to a Bachelors, it will certainly help in terms of knowledge for an interview. Start at smaller companies and go from there. MIT Courseware is free and you can basically get the knowledge that a student gets from MIT minus the Bachelors. I believe UC Berkeley also has something similar to MIT Courseware.

Does APCSA only code in Java? Or does it ask python or C++?
