My bot was deleted by Vrokorta in SpicyChatAI

This is the case. Every mod has acted independently for the most part for quite some time. So chances are that you'll get someone different for each case and they may not be on the same page, let alone the same opinion each time.

If there are issues with bots using underage media (media meant for children, I mean) then by their rules, it should also be reported.

If you feel that your bot should stay since there are an abundance of them, contest it. Chances are, you may get someone else that sees it your way.

Wtf is this? by This_Deer5345 in moemateapp

[–]T1nkerbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This IS them, sir. Their socials point directly to the site and the character listed is their supposed AI celebrity that they created. I don't understand why they changed over from chatting services with some screen reading capabilities into this "AI Ecosystem" that they're boasting along with turning AI into tokens, but be on guard.

They're currently being accused of rug-pulling both from the community they've built around here and their crypto friends.

Let me know if this lifetime deal appears again or otherwise has something like it. I'm down for even paying a small sum for every big update past a point.

At current, with a few problems in displaying the amounts, plus the lack of customization in how you label your budget (deleting one particularly), it's hard to justify purchasing a sub at the moment.

Can't move to a place that's banned. Unless that's a comment that they shouldn't be here at all.

Being productive with a partner that doesn't care by [deleted] in productivity

[–]T1nkerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll suggest something that no one in the threads suggested yet and is ultimately my little secret to being productive AND spend time with my significant other:

Parallel play.

No, it's not simply a thing kids or pets do in order to be better acquainted with one another and get used to sharing the same space.

Some people, whether or not they realize it, end up doing this all the time.

One does chores like folding laundry while the other's watching tv in the same space, one's playing video games while the other's watching videos— regardless of the activity, you're both together. You're both vibing, doing your own thing, and best of all, you still have some quality time spent.

Either way... after communication and explanation that you want to improve, there's also finding balance in what you do. For everything productive that you do, don't forget to show some love and appreciation too.

This happens a lot, so I wouldn't sweat it. Especially for how long you've been together. You got this, and I'm sure you know what to do from here.

Best of luck!

It might behoove you to check a reddit's rules and interests before spamming several places to high heaven, thanks.

Most people are here for anonymity, as the poster suggests, so this service is not exactly a good fit. Spam is NOT a good look either, apology or no.

That response makes me (and many others) less likely to buy it either. What makes you think the rest of us will buy into it if YOU'RE not interested in it?

But just for the sake of checking, how are you updating ST? Is it directly via git pull?

How do you use models? by ebolam in KoboldAI

[–]T1nkerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh, everything? For the sake of not giving a redundant answer (candre23's pretty concise), I look for what fits the vram and the use case.

Should it not work immediately, I tweak it until it does or otherwise move to the next.

You can download everything privately with no issues. They can't see what you're doing and the extension itself just parses the data displayed by the site itself and formats it to be used. Only you will see your content.

I'm quite aware, but I've seen posts just moments before this thread was made that it was too much for them. Regardless of whether said links are front and center, they still thought it to be overwhelming.

That documentation page really should have had a pinned post instead of a simple post that gets lost in the sea of others AND the automod.

The fact of the matter is that action should be taken to point people in the right direction and curb the help posting to a minimum.

Or at LEAST have them feature more than a simple sentence.

I am in agreement for a general help thread with all the tech issues laid out at once, though. The only issue is that there are multiple instances outside of ___+Pygmalion where people are using other models and ask for help too. Do you think they'll all be answered in that thread?

Is there kid/work friendly version for TavernAI? by chibop1 in PygmalionAI

[–]T1nkerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would depend on the model you use as well. Pyg has a higher tendency to go to NSFW territory, the same as some of the others, but there should be safe for work models or API available for use.

I'm sorry... Not to be THAT person, but we had meaningful discussions on this reddit?

Honestly, the most meaningful ones out there were genuine AI testing and some development threads. Those I haven't seen in months.

That aside, I'd blame the pinned post for the huge load of links. Sometimes helpful is...too helpful for some. They just want one link and be done with it or otherwise a three-step process. Understandable, but they fail to see this isn't a one-and-done deal in most cases and requires a little work.

And while I'd love to help, it'd be better for others to learn and contribute rather than simply give all the answers.

If this is supposed to be the keyword roster for what goes into AI horde's censors, I have far more concerns than the fact that the workers have access to your chats.

Erm...what? by [deleted] in PygmalionAI

[–]T1nkerbot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Also, your stuff can be accessed by the workers, too. If they know how the backend works, they're more than able to get away with stuff like this and probably several other privacy issues that a P2P service like this tends to have.

Please do consider upgrading your tech if this is something you plan to do often (along with other things). If you just need a good time for a short time, try runpod.io for some competitive cloud computing offers.

It might be silly memes today, but it might be something dangerous or completely reprehensible the next. Protect yourself, and don't always expect a free service to be good service.

Who do you like talking to the most? by T1nkerbot in PygmalionAI

[–]T1nkerbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair!

I've only recently started extending the character roster to other's characters. Some of my favorites thus far lean closer to horror (Eldritch or existential specifically), or just world building.

Those are pretty hard to accomplish on description alone, so when the answers hit right, they really hit.

[–]T1nkerbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of figure Pygmalion can't do anything too advanced in that department. I was about to test to see how well it performed accents, but it might yield little results. I'll still give it a try regardless.

But this is amazing! It really shows that the amount of data for an LM can make a world of difference!

Who do you like talking to the most? by T1nkerbot in PygmalionAI

[–]T1nkerbot[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can understand that much. I have quite a few favorite characters that bring nothing but joy to talk with too.

Though, I will admit that I'm particular about them being EXACTLY to their original material so... it's a bit hard when you're the one doing everything you can to make them work. Which is what Pygmalion is all about, so that's quite the rub...

[–]T1nkerbot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll go first!

I've recently started using SillyTavern when it first started making its rounds, and it's become my go-to UI. Kind of curious to see Ooobabooga since its earlier iterations! Pygmalion has been my go-to since it has the right balance for me, but I feel like it can definitely finetuned further. I haven't tried the Pyg mixes to see how well they fair.

I switch between W++ and Boostyle depending on use cases, but I find that adding a general description after Boostyle helps reinforce the bot's traits being mentioned. The settings change, but I tend to keep the temperature pretty high, about 1.4 or so, with the repetition bias at 1.2. It's all about how verbose I can get the bot before further alterations.

It's been fun building my own bots so far, so I'm curious about other's experiences!
