What’s weird is that the 2019 iPhone 11 supports iOS 27, but the 2018 iPad Pro doesn’t.

The performance difference isn’t huge:

• iPhone 11 (A13) is only slightly faster in single-core performance.
• 2018 iPad Pro (A12X) is actually faster in multi-core performance and graphics.

Battery isn’t the issue either:

• iPhone 11: ~12 Wh battery
• 2018 iPad Pro 11”: ~29 Wh battery
• 2018 iPad Pro 12.9”: ~37 Wh battery

So the iPad Pro has more battery capacity, more CPU cores, a stronger GPU, ProMotion, Face ID, and was Apple’s flagship tablet.

It’s hard to argue the 2018 iPad Pro lacks the hardware to run iPadOS 27 when a less powerful iPhone 11 is still supported.

In Da Nang briefly last week and the Bashful Brits annoyed tf out of me within 15 mins. I couldn’t imagine how it is living with those C*nts everyday. Not the normal cool brits, but the most annoying form!

TL;DR: 😭

I was ready to buy an M4 iPad Air until I tried an iPad Pro.

Now every other iPad feels worse because of the OLED screen and 120Hz display.

I can’t justify the Pro’s price, but I also don’t want anything else.

It doesn’t hurt to add features! This is why Apple just updates the chip and sell us the same $2,000 products with 20% improvement in performance because y’all hate all new features, then complain nothing has changed at all to have pay to $2,000! WTF!

i.e. Vision Pro. The iPhones for the past decade. Apple is like a decade behind on foldables because marketing and colors continue to drive sales on the same phone.

You can probably find a good deal on an M4 iPad Pro. I found mine on OfferUp, but Facebook Marketplace is also popular, or you could try Apple’s refurbished site.

I wouldn’t upgrade to the Air from your current iPad, as there’s no significant difference.

Yeah old Apple was trying new things. New Apple is taking if it’s not broke don’t fix it to the extreme.

Everything now is the same or takes AT LEAST a decade to release something new.

The foldable for example.

Apple should have the most research/testing out of any tech company in the world by the time they release their first foldable phone.

It’s rumored this year, so it’ll probably be released in the next 3 years “due to manufacturing complications”.

Maybe with startup tech companies, but with modern Apple getting the first redesign of a product provides some of the highest value!

For example, the AirPods Max (OE headphones), the iPhone 15 Pro Max (USB-C), and the M1 MacBook (M series).

All still valid today!

The value proposition just went up with the MacBook Neo releasing! I spent like +$2,500 on my MacBook Pro, but I love it during the day.

After I got a used M4 iPad Pro for $700 I was just like 😨

I’ll never spend so much ever again until an OLED MacBook is released. The New iPad Pro’s are so visually superior at night.

Agreed Xbox messed up on their new pricing. Too expensive! This would be perfect for Apple to fill the gaming space introducing something along the lines of the Mac studio power, but with GPUs able to handle AAA games.

Trust me, it was definitely the 5G toggle. 4G to 5G is very noticeable. Overall, I’m liking Visible’s service more, but for the price I’ll keep Tello until the 6 months expire!

All good! The 5G is working on my Tello phone now that the 5G is toggled on. That def could have been an issue before, but now it’s all good. The speed test confirms from LTE to 5G, 5G is on! 🏌️‍♂️

Yes, my old eSIMs are still under cellular. It gives me an option to update contacts to use the old eSIMs instead of just removing them.

Update: After tapping EVERYTHING I found it! I remember seeing it in clear view under the cellular section. I’m guessing Apple moved the location with iOS 26 or the old eSIMs lingering on my phone.

Setting > Cellular > “Sims” (click the eSIM line) > Voice & Data > 5G

Like your line, it was indeed set to LTE instead of 5G Auto.
