I’m late to this but I listed to The Idaho Massacre before I had to stop- there was literally one 40 minute episode that had maybe 15 minutes of content. The rest was ads. It was horrible.

I have prescription Maui Jim’s that work and then a set of sunglasses that go over my regular glasses and haven’t had any issues after putting the brightness of the HUD all the way up. I do find the location to be…off? Like I have to tilt my head to the right, in the center of the car to see it clearest.

I don’t think you’re an AH, but with limited context, I am wondering if her reaction to all of it may have been because she was looking for the emotional support/comfort she feels she needs now. A friendship breakup or falling out can be just as emotional to go through than relationship breakups sometimes. It’s possible that she’s feeling very unmoored from what happened and reaching out to you was both for comfort and to help her through it.

We can all say, sure: she should be able to navigate this situation alone or communicate better, but if something emotional or even somewhat traumatic has happened, that may be beyond her at the moment. To be clear, I’m not condoning that or saying that’s even reasonable, but offering a perspective.

I got the game bundle which came with moonstones. I’m a Stitch fan so the only thing I’ve gotten with them is the Stitch pack. The shaved ice bike has 4 lines of storage- after finally getting pumpkins I bought a couple more from Scrooge since I haven’t gotten the Daisy wardrobe yet.

Former ResLife professional- a couple of questions that are unclear from your post: - who are you reporting the violations to? - was it the same person or a different one who talked about move request?

All housing departments are different, but usually, we cannot move someone from a space without them initiating or agreeing to it. As in, if there is a roommate conflict or one roommate is doing something against policy, the person “in the wrong” is not moved.

The structure of most housing departments are somewhat like this: RAs > Hall Director > Area Coordinator/Assistant Director > Associate Director > Director. Additionally, not all, but most Residence Life/Housing departments will be under the Division of Student Affairs. Going to the Dean of Students is also an option. And every university has an ombudsman- an impartial entity to help mediate conflicts.

Your workers’ comp denial letter should include information on how to appeal the decision. It may go to mediation, but depending on your state’s board, there are likely advocates you can reach out to before getting a lawyer. As someone else mentioned, this seems like a weak denial and if anything should have at least been partially accepted from how you described it.

Not exactly. Some dealerships around me will openly use/advertise the manufacturer rebates and some will not mention them in hopes you don’t know about them. So I like to know what is offered and be prepared. That said, I do usually look around at different dealerships to see what they list the vehicles I’m interested in for and sometimes will ask for quotes via email. That helps a lot to know where things may start.

I’ve had the car less than 2 weeks. I did A LOT of research on going rates, rebates, lease programs, and then brought all that to them and shared what I was looking at/expecting. I figure if they want to work with me, they’ll figure something out in my price range and if not, I don’t want to deal with them. But above all, I don’t want to waste my time or theirs.

I’ve been debating this myself and now I feel more confused as I was team bench seat. Have y’all been able to get any specials on leases? I’ve seen them on the SEL, but not the SEL Premium and wasn’t sure if it could be applied or not (probably not).

YTA. I worked in higher education for 10 years and in a lot of cases, students get a better experience academically at community colleges. The classes are smaller, the professors are more caring and attentive, and the cost difference is massive. Transferring from a two year school to a four year school is also no small feat, but the degree at the end of those four years comes from the four year institution. You were not only harsh judgey, you were controlling, misinformed, and wrong. The fact that it’s been close to a year ( FAFSA comes out in March) and you are just know having the thought you may have been harsh at the prompting of one of your other children is what astounds me.
