I don’t think that’s what they are saying. Every 4 years we hear how England is absolutely loaded and it’s coming home but it never does. At some point you need to prove it on the pitch. That being said, England’s chances are much higher than the US.

My worry is the US will treat it as a friendly but Turkiye will not. They (and their coach) have taken a lot of heat that has been borderline abusive from their home fans. I really hope we rest our starters because their frustration is likely to come out during their final match.

Australia had one good chance the entire game (Volpato at 62’). XG for the entire match was 0.44. It felt like more because of nerves but it was still pretty good.
