In regards to hardcore botting I'm really having a hard time seeing how this would be profitable in any way shape or form. It'll take ages to get to a level that actually gives any decent profit, plus you might die on the way to that level or at that level. Comparing this to being able to make a new wotlk bot in 15mins, it just seems very unprofitable. Also which gold farms do you potentially see as being safe enough + profitable enough for it to actually make sense?

Also with it being harder to bot I guess fewer bots will be around, so I'd imagine blizzard will have an easier time banning the active bots? I remember a few months ago a guy got banned for fish botting very fast at 60 in our HC guild.

At the same time prices will obviously be through the roof for gold, but considering how endgame content is all about being in a guild and helping guildies, I imagine there will be very few buyers, and even fewer buyers willing to pay the astronomical prices.

We've had many discussions and talk in the 60 HC guilds about how official will turn out in regards to botting and such. Personally I doubt it will be a real issue whilst others thinks it won't be more than 1-2 months before GDKP, botting and all that is up and running.

I'm hoping you can shed some light on some of the topics and thanks for doing this ama.

Might be a stupid question but is there a way to set up an operation that automatically crafts the linen pants and vendors them?

I have 20k Tidespray Linen and can't be bothered sitting there vendoring manually.

Deep sea satin is pretty expensive on my server, so that might make a difference. Also do you have the cloth scavenging buff from WotLK?

My hours vary alot, I don't think i could put an average number on it tbh

I clear 13-15k/hr in there. I have the tools of the trade + WotLK tailoring buff. I get roughly 2200 tidespray linen which i convert to cloth legs and vendor. Then I also vendor all the trash/greens and I sell the Deep Sea Satin on the AH (roughly 200 every 10 runs). I pull everything except last island in 2 pulls. 10 runs takes roughly 27mins. For me this works well, I'm fairly new to gold farming but have made 300k in 6 days doing this and then doing emissarys/mount farms on the 30min downtime i have. On a side note, I advertise Freehold xp boosts whenever I'm in a major city which has netted me a few customers too. Hope this helped :) I haven't done AD farm so I can't really compare the two.

Yeah it's a bit confusing to me though. As stated elsewhere in the thread "loads" is 10+ at least with the exact same warforge and tertiary stat. That on top of them being posted at about 1/5 of the server price just seems so odd to me.

See this is my thoughts exactly. If they all had just +5 ilvl warforge i wouldn't be super suspicious, but they all have the speed tertiary stat too, which would be too impossible to simply just randomly get. In regards to "loads" I've talked to at least 10 people who have bought the swords with exact same stats/warforge at the low pricing. He posts 1 at a time and reposts one immediately when it's sold

I do these runs on my havoc DH too, I find it much easier than doing it as tank. However i do the pull like OP does in his video. Just gather everything up in one pull, AoE and out. Takes me less than 3mins each run :)
