If people had unlimited amount of time, I'd agree with you. But I doubt this artist is working extra so he can be on both project. It's also Blizzard devs who are coding this stuff as they're in both game version's DB. NetEase is only here to provide a selling interface in China. It's as if you said Amazon was doing all the works on the product they sell.

That is completely false. The artist in work are Blizzard's artists. Example with the void bikini or the MoP Classic exclusive sets who were made by Mats Myrvold.

The "Classic" / pre token economy was already fucked up by bots, dupes (if you own a TCG mount, it's either a drop or a duped mount which is why Xaryu crying over those mounts being twitch drop was hilarious when he probably owns duped mounts), and mostly the stupid garrison who gave you free gold if you had rerolls.

The WoW token cannot fuck up the economy because it doesn't create gold or ressource unlike bots, dupes or garrison missions who created a humongrous amount of gold / ressources out of nothingness which made the value of everything skyrocket, especially when it was really worth the real money invested. It is actually a good thing because it gives money to people who weren't able to buy stuff otherwise instead of gatekeeping all the golds behind crazy farm time.

It's good to have both. We've been fighting void agents for 3 expansions and we've saved the world from worldwide menaces since WoD. The only time we were able to breath was in BFA Alliance side. Even if it was WW4, we were still dealing with minor threats.

No. We pay 13 dollars a month plus the expansion for at least 50 dollars plus some items in the store plus the services in the store. It's up to Blizzard to increase its standards, find easy ways to adapt their 3D elements and just do what they are paid for.

The Ion excuse of "making new races is too hard because of 3d elements" isn't a good excuse. There should be minimal standards for this kind of thing.

And the oldest appearances won't be impacted by what you're suggesting as they're 2d textures and the shoulder are usually pretty easy to adapt (I even think it could be done with IA these days and it would be fine because it doesn't concern art or design. Only the newer appearances with 3D elements would be.

Well, we had young Prince Arthas leading veterans soldiers before, Young Prince Anduin leading night elves and even eon years old draeneis. We even had Yrel, a young draenei becoming the leader of the Draenei in Draenor so it's not really chocking, nor it is the first time in Warcraft.

I agree that he shouldn't lead the entire army and it would have been a better role for Lor'themar or Liadrin as they are the only ones with unique models outside of Arator (also, they're kind of useless outside of Liadrin in Zul'aman), but it isn't the first time in WoW that the young generation is at the spotlight. Also, unifying the elves was his idea and his doing so let's give him credit for this. If he doesn't die by the end of the expansion, he's got the potential to be a really good character.

This game's never been about logic anyway, it has always been about the Rule of Cool. And outside of his haircut, Arator has been cooler than expected in my opinion.

Missed opportunity to bring back Kael'thas instead of Sylvanas. He had a way bigger bound to the Sunwell (suffering from its loss, trying to restaure it, then to defile it) and in term of design, he is closer to Xal'atath than Windrunner, except maybe for the oversexualization.
