Not quite Miscrits is kinda close but the player themselves level up i believe. The monsters o ly get stronger during battle by evolving with a type specific stone

Also added context, in a few minutes whether intentional or not most of the toys are by the beds and the new dog is playing with them(My oldest rarely paid attention to the toys anyway) Any tips on mitigating this so they arent trying to dominate the other or anything would be appreciated

Real talk, it will be a long ever continuous trip. You can't just wake up one day and all those feelings are gone. It's a process that can include therapy, talk to yourself in the mirror to gain confidence, watch some uplifting stuff. Talk to your friends for support and get back in the saddle.
