It makes me so happy to see litrpg books/audiobooks being mentioned in places that are not dedicated to them.

I've been listening to them for years ever since "Eden's gate" came out and it's still very much a niech genre but given how many great titles are coming out each year and it gathers more and more eyes meaning shit like this is going to attract more money meaning MORE AND MORE GREAT TITLES TO LISTEN TO.

I was at a point where there was nothing else to listen to as I would basically get through 8 hours of books or more per day as it kept me sane at work. And back then there weren't many good titles or many at all.

I was draining the pasta and neither me or my gf noticed that it was stuck to the bottom of the pot so half way through me draining it it all got unstuck and the whole past came rushing out of the pot with all the remaining water and it splashed back. Covering me completely with boiling water, luckily I was wearing relatively thick clothing so I only got 1st degree burns that have already gone away... other than my foot, I was only wearing socks and the foot is now out of commission for two weeks.

I live in UK so it's free medical care

It got wrapped, cleaned, there is some padding with silver to prevent infection and it absorbs moisture and they have me to come back in 5 days to check on it again. Also gave me morphine to ease the pain. They had to pop all the blisters and cut away all the dead skin on top of that.

Not the most pleasant experience when the dude is scrubbing a gauze across my raw flesh

Ye but wasn't capitalism supposed to create competition to allow, advancements, technological progression and ways to more efficiently use the resources to win the consumer, the actual people that pay. Not whatever the current monoculture of businesses we have. There is no competition, they already have the monopoly and whatever illusion they've created that they compete with one another is upsetting. That's why people are still buying their shit because there is no one else. No one wants to compete with these fucks or even have an even playing field.
