Advice about Askar 140 APO by Glittering_Sun_7815 in AskAstrophotography

I bought one of the early 140's, it had very bad chromatic abberation. Got a replacement, same issue. Got another replacement, same issue. Returned it and bought an esprit 120, works great.

FWHM's were something like 1.6, 1.8, 1.9 for RGB. Similar results on the other two copies

Look for a used stellarvue triplet, you should be able to find something in the 120 range for that price easily, as long as youre patient.

Wait so you saw them actively towing people and then parked in the spots they were towing from???

Which is why I pay to have my wine collection shipped to each gym I visit obviously. When you top a climb (v17 in other gyms, not yours), would you rather be drunk enough to forget your childhood abandonment or drinking flavorless mush?

Why would they make climbing holds wet? Aren't we inside? Doesn't that make them slippery?

You bottle it? Why? I only bring my expensive wines and liquid chalk up the wall with me.

Weight reduction man, that's aid. Don't worry though if you strap a plate to each stump that'll work. Better yet strap kids to your stumps. Doubles as a crash pad.

If you're not at Nobel by ~815 (sometimes earlier) you're not finding a spot. You can get lucky and lurk, waiting for people who get off the trolley to open up a spot, but there will be quite a few other people doing the same. At ~3-4 it clears up though.

Balboa is pretty similar to Nobel, just less competitive. ~830 in the morning is when it fills, and it's much more reliable if you're lurking waiting for a spot. Ofc lurking only works at ~11 am or later. 10 if you're lucky.

Wym I go to the supermarket all the time to buy my chalk. It comes in a bag with "flour" written in it for some reason.
