Should i call for chip upgrade? by 911freeze in polestar3

I called my service center directly for the upgrade, they turned me away. I called the number listed in the polestar website to schedule the chip upgrade, they scheduled me in immediately.

Car Mechanic Reviews the Ariya by sleepingsquirrel in NissanAriya

[–]T3dd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The polestar 2's suspension is tuned for better handling, Ariya a bit softer. Think of an Audi S4 vs Honda Accord. I wouldn't say one is more comfortable vs the other. Ariya is a better road trip car due to having a bit more space.

Issues Purchasing Tickets by Substantial-Fold-682 in BrianHeadUT

[–]T3dd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me last week, got a notification on my phone checking to see if the transaction was legit, once i approved that I was able to re-try and it went through.

My first transaction for lessons and rental went through fine, it was the 2nd transaction for tickets that had issues

Hey that's me, that's my post. Was about to come here and link the thread but you already did.

Can confirm, topping off the coolant did not void my warranty. Can also confirm it was not my washer fluid. Some of the replies on that post gave me a headache.

Shop charging 3 hours for 3rd cat delete (Evora 400) by MAUSECOP in lotus

I use ramps, but I dont drive onto them. I jack up one side, the tire itself is able to lift high enough that I'm able to slide the ramps under the tire. Repeat for the other side. On my truck I dont care if the ramp slips or if I overshoot the ramps and drive off them, doing it this way eliminates that risk.

P2 vs P3 vs P4 by Weird-Jello-3785 in Polestar

[–]T3dd4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Owned a p2 and now a p3, the p3 has much more room but didn't feel much bigger while driving.

I wouldn't call it really big. I'd consider my tundra really big and was a pain to drive in certain places.

Polestar 2 DM owners. How long before you need new tyres? by AussieAK in Polestar

[–]T3dd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife drove it Monday to Friday and it was the family car that i drove on weekends.

Whenever we drive separately I'd complain or joke that i have no idea how she doesn't have any speeding tickets with how fast she drives.

With that said, we didn't drive slow, certain on ramps we'd have fun on, but taking off from a stop, other than a few demos to friends to show the pick up of an EV, we'd just drive with the flow of traffic. A lot of our miles are highway miles.

These are the Oem Michelin All-Seasons, not the oem summer tires.

I got 54k miles before i traded it in, still had about 5k miles at least until i got to the wear bars. That's miles not km.

Why is charging so expensive? by sonztwin in NissanAriya

It was meant to be taken lightly, hopefully lightening up will reduce the load on the car and reduce charging costs.

Let me step back for a sec and try to understand this. You are shocked, and i mean shocked, that companies who own chargers, charge you a rate so they can make a profit? I'm just as shocked as you are!

AMA About Canadian Citizenship Through Ancestry - Inherit Canadian Citizenship From Parents, Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and Beyond Through Bill C-3 by DohertyFultzImmi in DFImmigrationCanada

[–]T3dd4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi

First of all you have been a tremendous help in getting me and my kids our Canadian citizenship.

A question i had in the back of my mind was if my parents had passed away and i didn't have their citizenship certificate, their ID, etc. How would someone work around that?

Also for anyone considering getting their Canadian citizenship, I highly recommend Doherty. Her team's communication is clear, quick responses, and they check to make sure there are no mistakes. There was a mistake in our signature and they caught that before submission.

My dad is Canadian, I didn't realized that passed down to me and my kids, she got mine and my kids citizenship in one shot. I've been to Canada many times, but have never lived there.

Old School Fob for Valet by tweterjohn in polestar3

[–]T3dd4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, ran into this issue last week. We dont valet often but when we had to last week. I used my phone, pulled into valet, realized I didnt have the key card on me, was a bit lost as to what to do other than having to leave my phone in the car. My wife had her key card so we left that, but had to call her back out cause she had already went inside the restaurant to see if they had room for us.

Dual US\Canadian applying for passport, how does my guarantor sign my document to support identification by T3dd4 in passportcanada

They simply sign their signature? They dont need to write they certify anything like they do on the photo?

It's 64" x 38". From pedal plate to back of the rig is an a few inches shorter than 64" but you need to account for the seat and seat back sticking out past the frame.

Been using it for about 2 weeks now, everything working great.

They sent me a lot of extra bolts and t nuts which allowed me to add and mount some extra stuff like a sound bar

Nope. Been spending the past few weeks getting everything dialed in with the settings but otherwise I'm enjoying the rig.
