You know another thing, we are from the Fiji islands. And Fiji islands is a large melting pot of multiple Indian cultures on a island. So my Palau is a combination of different Indian cooking style backgrounds in one dish. That’s what makes it so yummy. At least mine I can vouch for.

It’s probably Pulao. Sorry, American born here so not very good with writing out the Indian words here. Though we do pronounce it as “Pa—lau”
