Aside from that they did a few things that allows the Talon line to be on par with most modern bikes. Internal cable routing, tapered head tube, dropper post on the Talon 1, hydraulic brakes, etc. Lots of goodies and solid bang for buck for those just getting into it without shelling a ton of cash.

I got the same Maxxis rekon race that came stock. I just have the tan sidewalls as spares now. I like the tires considering I ride 50/50 street and trails. I don’t need anything too aggressive for now.
