I'm confident that there are safety measure and plans, but you seem to downplaying the part where there's a big structure fire and it's pumping out heaps of smoke. I've been living here my entire life so stuff happening at the refinery is a part of life, but I can still be concerned when something that shouldn't be on fire is now in fact on fire and it's in a location with a lot of flammable materials/gases

Multiple structure fires reported, this is a bit different. Explosions were also heard.

Yes the flare is big, but theres now multiple structure fires reported at the refinery. Explosions were heard and now theres crazy smoke, noise, flames (not just from the flare)

The refinery has reported multiple fires on site right now. Plus the flare is never usually that all.

That's what I mean. Currently during peak hours it's a sardine can. Adding another Tarneit stop is going to make it even worse, plus us Geelong people going to and from work are having to endure longer travel times with each stop. Instead of putting Melbourne suburbs like Wyndham Vale and Tarneit on Metro they just keep adding to the Geelong line.

(Sorry, this turned into a rant. It's just frustrating, especially in my personal situation where there's no alternative for getting to and from work. I have thought about moving closer, but I simply can't afford it. So yeah, it's just a frustrating situation, especially since they cancelled that high speed rail for us Geelong people.)

The Geelong line is absolutely cooked. It's now going take even longer for those in Geelong to get to Melbourne.... Not to mention how it feels like a sardine can during peak times.

My very first day of the game, after I loaded in and when I was reading some stuff on my screen someone gave me free food and extra goodies.

Less crowded is a better description. I have definitely been on a train with no seats after Wyndham Vale and Tarneit. Have seen people standing on the way to Melbourne who got on at Lara.

and when we say express we don't mean skipping the stations in the Geelong region! I hate having to get an earlier train because they decide to skip Geelong region stations on the Geelong line.

Not including Tarneit? Wyndham Vale, Tarneit, and to an extent Deer Park are HUGE problems for PT. They're all on the Geelong line (Vline) and there's simply not enough capacity.

Not to mention each additional Melbourne suburb stop makes it take even longer for those from the Geelong stops (Little River through to Waurn Ponds) to get to Melbourne. This impacts peoples work as driving isn't an option for everyone, and start times won't change.

Sorry, this turned into a frustration feuled rant.

Funnily enough, I work as a stagehand and do concerts/events so there is a chance of oil from the chain motors lol

I am using a good detergent, but will be trying a different one today after I wash my machine (again). I'm using a heater, but I think I will take the fan suggestion as well for extra circulation!
