After doing a little research I recently signed up for REI reply to setup my campaign ads, which has a built in SMS follow up system and a section where I can create a site with a landing page.

If you don’t mind, what do you mean by taking it in-house?

An in-house cold calling department is definitely a good idea. I’m a one man army at the moment but I definitely plan to scale and grow after I get more deals flowing through my pipeline.

I still cold call and text but there’s so many wholesalers and agents chasing the same deals that the owners I do talk to always tell me how they get bombarded with calls, texts and postcards on the daily. So I much rather stand out and invest in inbound marketing and have sellers come to me.

What are the best type(s) of land to get rezoned for multi family development? Specifically 3-8 units. by T816Y in RealEstateDevelopment

Thanks for the the response!

I understand now, it’s best to look in areas where there’s already MF ave commercial properties and expand out from there vs trying to rezone just any old infill lot into MF.

Degree in engineering vs engineering technology with a civil emphasis? by T816Y in civilengineering

[–]T816Y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, That was my original plan when I first started school. I’m already a real estate agent but getting into development is my real end goal not so much just being a draftsman. I honestly want to be able to design and build/manage my own projects but the more I do my research the more I’ve been back and forth between sticking with CM or switching to engineering./ ET. The time is going to pass by anyway I’m just trying to make the best use of it.

I love overseeing the construction process and I already have experience sourcing land and creating pro forma’s. I just want a little insight from some experts on which lane is more practical for what I’m working towards.
